Basic Info

Papaya Paya is a Dunesfolk Lalafell raised by a rather humble family of merchants. She is one of six, neither eldest nor youngest. Though Paya is a retired adventurer and Maelstrom officer with plenty of knowledge, battles, scars, and memories under her belts, she is not even the most renown of her family members. (Which, I'm sure if you shared a few drinks with her, she could rant on and on about...)

Biography

Paya is a skilled Summoner, able to call on more than a couple Egi based on her experiences in the field prior and even after retirement from the Maelstrom and adventuring life. Even with practice, she wields the most control of her first, Titan-egi. Recent cycles have served to hone her Arcanum and command of the primal essences within her, but Paya is first and foremost a very skilled Thaumaturge, which is her preferred method of fighting.

Though the life of a career fighter is now behind her, Paya often finds herself in the midst of trouble. It is unclear as to whether she seeks it or it seeks her. Either way, she can be anywhere at any time, and is always willing to lend aid to those who need it. In her spare time Paya enjoys sewing, making toys, cooking, and gardening.

Education

Paya studied for several years within the Ossuary to master Thaumaturgy.

Has for the past and continues to study Arcanum within Limsa Lominsa in order to maintain control of her Egis. Estimated time in studying Arcanima is roughly 12+ years.

Combat Experience

Fought some of the first incarnations of Titan, Ifrit, Garuda, and a few others. Served alongside many, many other adventurers when doing this, and has plenty of experience giving and taking orders in the field.

Several years of service with the Maelstrom, as well as a few Free Companies. Though retired, her skills have still seen use in recent times.
