Tall—as most elezen are blessed to be—and full of as many smiles as he has ilms, Leodarion can be found clad in tailored, oftentimes pink attire that looks to have easily cost a pretty gil or two-wwwenty thousand. And that's not including the golden cuffs mounted on his pointed ears, or the lavender oil wafting from his collar, or any number of the sudden, lavish gifts he thrusts upon unsuspecting friends and strangers alike. Below his left eye is a birthmark, which could either resemble a heart or a splotch of dirt, all depending on the kindness of the observer.

L I K E S ■ Pink. Leo's wardrobe once held no trace of the colour, given to a more modest, much earthier palette during his youth. Yet that would be incredibly hard to believe, looking at the man today. What changed? A certain bird named Antoinette. Enjoying myriad victories alongside of her has inspired a profound appreciation for the delightfully rosey shade of her plumage. ■ Althyk Lavender. Leo's fragrance of choice, lavender is considered the very best remedy for the malodor of sweat from simmering Thavnair to sunbaked Ul'dah. And it does work! Fairly well, and for a fair(ly steep) pricetag. It is, however, no match for chocobo musk. As such, after liberally dousing himself in the stuff post-race, he walks the stands smelling like a perfumed horsebird, nonetheless and none-the-wiser. ■ Trashy Romance Novels. "Trashy" not being the word Leo would ascribe, of course. Over the years, his collection has grown to include steamy diamonds in the rough from authors far and wide: Gridanian, Ishgardian, Sharlayan. It seems no culture can refuse the wiles of an utterly indulgent love story. ■ Cactuars. Some of the only green to be found deep in the Sagolii, their lushly pigmented hides are always a sight for sore forestborn eyes. And they really are quite adorable. ■ Chocobos. Staunch allies, unforgettable friends.

D I S L I K E S ■ Arid Climes. Ironically and unfortunately, the capital of chocobo racing and the heart of the desert are one in the same—the Sagolii, for which Leodarion has yet to develop any modicum of love. While in Thanalan, the elezen prefers to spend as much time indoors as possible. Protective skin creams and moisturizing lotions are a common expenditure of his, stocked in excess and applied religiously. ■ Animal Abuse. Almost nothing earns his distrust as swiftly. Learning which of his competitors mistreat their birds is a simple task, as the elezen's face will grow sour the moment any of their names are mentioned in his company. ■ Guns. Guns kept tucked away in their holsters are tolerable. Guns in the hands of trusted compatriots, likewise, are fine. But the moment the hollow end of a barrel points in his direction, it will drain the elezen of his colour faster than any blade or rabid fiend. ■ Magitek Weaponry. Magitek swords and polearms that could potentially hide a firing mechanism within them are also a source of unease.

M A R T I A L ■ Swordsmanship. Classically trained and whetted by years of service to Gridania, Leodarion was an excellent swordsman... still is, in theory. His faith in his abilities has since been shaken, and these days they are seldom seen in practice. Frequent treks between city-states require him to carry a blade for protection, though he prays to the gods above he'll needn't have to draw it against anything much nastier than, say, a crazed marmot or two. That aside, friendly duels are not altogether out of the question, granted that there is plenty of reassurance that deadly force is not to be used. ■ Mounted Combat. Text, text, text, text.

O T H E R ■ Dancing. A pastime for which Leo has copious enthusiasm to spare. Though he can hardly be called an expert, his skills are enough to fairly seamlessly blend in amidst a lively dancefloor, be it within a ballroom or around a festival fire. Whenever the elezen stumbles across a new dance, naught can stop him from postponing his schedule to learn a few steps. ■ Chocobo Care. Proper grooming, proper feeding and exercise regimens, how to spot and tend to an ailing chocobo, these are things a young Leodarion was taught directly from the mouths of the Ordelle family's hired grooms at his own behest. Having rarely been apart from one of the birds ever since that tender age, reading their behavior has become second nature. He understands them about as fluently as one can, short of literally being able to speak their musical wark-language. When Leo first began to question his competence as an Adder, he had it in mind to retire to a quiet position at Moogle's Gift Mounts, but instead discovered and was subsequently drawn in by the world of racing.
