Or whatever inn is closest. ■ Occupation: Mercenary ■ Patron Deity: None at present ■ Alignment: Chaotic Neutral General Attitudes K'atja is, first and foremost, loyal to a fault. Once her trust is earned, she is notoriously steadfast and will protect her trusted circle of friends with the ferocity of a lioness. However, earning that trust is a journey in and of itself. K'atja does not make friends easily. Given that she tends to very hot-tempered and pointed in her opinions, she oftentimes has difficulty making friends because of it. She's not hateful or mean, just bluntly honest and opinionated. K'atja does not trust easily. Her life experiences have taught her to trust nothing and no one. The only person she can rely on is herself. She tends to appear almost aloof in her involvement with people until she grows to like or trust them. K'atja does not love easily. There is no such thing as "love at first sight"; in fact, love is a foreign concept to her considering she watched her father abuse her mother, all in the name of "love." She makes her skepticism on the matter known to any who might inquire, oftentimes pointedly so. Likes ■ Fighting. Loves a good scrap or spar. ■ Weaponry. Has an interest in weapons of all kinds, a blacksmith or magitek builder would make a die-hard friend. ■ Exploration. Going places and doing things is part of her nomadic lifestyle. Dislikes ■ Racism. Tends to bristle at this brand of divisional hatred. ■ Onions. They ruin everything. ■ Abuse. Of any kind, be it animals, people; verbal or physical. Quirks ■ Red. The color is tied to an incident from her childhood. Appearance K'atja is tall as miqo'te go, but tends to be more on the lean, wiry side of musculature save for her arms. Her arms look heavily muscled, particularly in the shoulders given the massive axe that's never far away. She tends to dress in some manner of armor at all times; leather when 'off-duty' or full-plate when active duty. She rarely likes to dress in common clothes or cloth, since she feels vulnerable doing so. She hates and despises him even now, despite the fact that he is long since dead by her own hand. Ilena Armitanis ( ♥ ♥) ( NPC ) Mother, my Guiding Moon K'atja's Keeper of the Moon mother to whom she is undyingly loyal. Ilena is an invalid, cloistered in Gridania having suffered too much at the hands of her abuser, her former mate, K'alagreth. PC Alexander Steelstrike ( ♦ ) The Off-White Knight Alex is a myriad curiosity for the moment. On the one hand, the man claims to be on the path of the Free Paladin, which speaks of honor and nobility to K'atja, but his tactics and views on combat aren't nearly so pristine. Still, he has been kind to her, far kinder than some. Grenat Querroux ( ● ) The Friendly Fighter A fighter that K'atja took notice of at the Grindstone fighting tournament near Ul'dah, she found him to be a likable enough fellow and his observations on the other fighters astute. His general zeal and affable nature in cheering on others, even after he himself lost, was not wasted on the miqo'te. She cheered right alongside him, perhaps, making a friend in the process. Queen O'Cups ( ● ) The Free-Spirited Arrow K'atja came across Queen when she stopped in at the Quicksand for a drink. At first, she mistook the miqo'te man to be a chandler of some kind, only to learn that he was a bowyer and hunter. His views on the world and on the journey of a warrior, in particular, resonated with her on some small level. While her time with the archer wasn't long, she wouldn't be adverse to encountering him again. Theronault Olivier ( ● ) Blondie "Friend" of Grenat. The quieter Elezen of the pair, K'atja isn't sure what to make of him. His fretful nature is something she finds a bit irksome, which leads her to tease him relentlessly about it.
