Renoix Carrilmont is a former fully-fledged knight of House Dureindaire and current adventurer. Living a humble life of solitude while traveling through Eorzea, Renoix simply desires to use his skills to help those who can't help themselves. Altruistic at heart, Renoix continues to act as any proper knight of Ishgard - his manner of refined grace backed up by his experience on the battlefield make him a stalwart adventurer in his own right. Kind, wise, and above all humble, Renoix seeks a modest life of adventure with those he deems as friends.
Renoix is tall like most of his kin and though one might assume this height would cause him to be a bit clumsy, Renoix manages to move about with a practiced grace. His bright blonde hair is often swept back neatly, obscuring no part of his gaunt, sharp facial features. His eyes are a steely grey, a feature he inherited from his father, while the rest of his pronounced, thin features come mostly from his mother's side. All in all, Renoix was considered quite handsome back when he served under the banner of House Durendaire and though he may have aged a bit since those glory days he still retains much of his youthful look - were he of higher birth, it would be easy to assume he would be sent more than his fair share of marriage proposals.
When he's within Ishgard, Renoix often dons the garb of the regular citizens. Long, elegant coats wrapped with a variety of exotic animal furs to help stave off the cold. Dark leather boots are his go to choice for footwear within the overbearing snow of the Holy See but beyond this Renoix doesn't accessorize much beyond an occasional hat if the snowfall is truly heavy. When traveling, Renoix wears a custom-made suit of plate and mail styled with various Hallonic symbols. A rather sturdy piece of gear, the armor has seen Renoix through some sticky situations in his past travels outside of the Holy See and thus the former knight goes out of his way to take care of it. Considering the set to be one of his most prized possessions (not to mention the fact it took quite a bit of saving up to procure it) Renoix often uses it for adventuring within the different city-states of Eorzea, not thinking it proper to use his old set of knightly mail (Which is proudly stored at the Carrilmont household, though the armor holds naught but painful memories to the former knight.) Renoix is a simple man and beyond this his appearance rarely changes, the man taking a small comfort in the routine of donning his armor for whatever work lies ahead.
♦ Renoix's favorite color is blue. ♦ Renoix fancies himself a cook, though is terrible at it. ♦ Was considered to be a student at the Scholasticate at one point. ♦ Has a weakness for seafood. ♦ Has trouble pronouncing Roegadyn names. ♦ Wanted to be a priest before his father pushed him towards knighthood.
