H I S T O R Y

Light was born into a poor farmers family, his parents toiled day after day to provide for him, though Light always worked hard to appease his parents and follow in their footsteps he always felt the call of adventure, When not working the fields or tending to the livestock Light could be found running around his parents small patch of dirt with a wooden sword fighting off the monsters of his imagination. When Light reached the age of ten he came across a chest that was stored with armor and a axe, this was the equipment his father had worn when he was a solider so long ago. On his 17th birthday he donned the armor and weapon and with the blessing of his parents left to join the Immortal flames. It was in that company he would meet his life long friend and mentor Ventus Zeruel. (TBU)

Deceased Erik Armegio ( Deceased ♥ ) ( NPC ) - Father Born in 1506 Erik was a butchers boy who grew to become a prominent solider, he married Kreia who had tended to his wounds after a battle, when Light was born he swore that he would do all he could to keep his son away from war and bloodshed. Erik spent most of his life trying to teach Light the craft of farming and growing crops but after a few years it was apparent to Erik where Light's ambitions lay. He encouraged Light to follow his dreams up to the day he departed to join the immortal flames. Erik lived a peaceful happy life with his wife till Bahamut unleashed his destruction upon the realm and both Erik and Kreia were caught in the path of ruin. Kreia Armegio ( Deceased ♥ ) ( NPC ) - Mother Born 1509 Kreia was a born into a rich family who held a broker business, Kreia wished to help the common people more so perused a life in medicine and healing, she took to it quite well and within a few years had become one of the best healers around. It was during one of those travels she ran into a man named Erik who fell in love with her at first sight, she scorned his advances at first considering him just another soldier who waged war and caused death but came around to see his more noble and charming side. Marrying him 1548 they settled down on a patch of land and took up the roles of farmers. Kreia gave birth to one son a boy they named Light after the dawning of the sun after a night of laboring childbirth. Kreia lived a happy life with her husband Erik till the time of Bahumut's wrath of destruction. Saran Dorthan ( Deceased ♥ ) ( Friend and Mentor ) - Title Given By Character Goes Here An Au'Ra with a knightly sense of justice. She took Light under her wing after Ventus left for his travels. She instilled in him a knightly sense of justice and taught him a great deal of the combat he knows. Though master and student, a deep bond had formed between them over time. Saran devoted herself to her duties first and everything was second, thus Light and her were never able to fully develop into a romantic relationship... despite the feelings they may have had for each other. Saran always seemed to trust Light and appreciated his loyalty to not only her but those around her. She joined Ventus and Light in Ul'dah Garden for a time but the life of a scholar didn't suit her well enough and thus she departed seeking to fix the realm. Light and Saran said their final goodbyes beneath the stars of the South Shroud, departing for a mission she knew may take her years to complete. She wished him well and hoped he would be their upon her return. On a rainy night of the 8th year after the calamity Light received a letter learning of her fate...
