Lackadaisy Lavender

Lackadaisy, in another universe, would be a true Ravenclaw. She is constantly curious, seeking new information about the world around her. One of the first words she ever spoke was "why?" Why does the sky look like that? Why do the waves go in and out? Why are boats shaped like that? On and on and on, much to the occasional frustration of her parents.

Though her curiosity often got her into trouble, her sheltered life kept her naive about life in general. Lack knows science, knows math, knows history, knows art, but she doesn't know people. She's easily taken advantage of, especially considering absolute willingness to help people.
Lack is infectiously enthusiastic and optimistic. While she doesn't often know what to say, she's good at generic pep talks. On adventures, she is the one who will keep a discouraged group going.

Lackadaisy is a thoughtful person, and doesn't often act without thinking through a situation first. However, in the midst of a fight, she is quick on her feet. Practice, practice, always practice, said her mother. She is only so fast on the battlefield because she practices at the Arcanist's Guild in between adventures.

A P P E A R A N C E

Lackadaisy is a slight and frail looking 2'10" and 28lbs. She looked strange when traveling in the city with her comparatively giant parents. She has average hands and slightly bigger than average feet.

Lack's skin is a ruddy clay brown, which is why most people guess she's a Dunesfolk Lalafell. Her entire face is dotted with dark freckles. Her nose long, thin, and just as dark as her freckles. Under each eye, she has a swoosh-shaped dark purple tattoo. She wears moisturizer on her lips, but forgoes makeup.

She has natural dark brown and purple hair. It was kept long her entire life, but when she left home, she had it cut off to get out of her way. She is almost addicted to haircuts and will restyle her hair often. Currently it's tied back in two ponytails and cut with long bangs.

Lack has soulful brown eyes, always having a spark of curiosity and thoughtfulness.
Her outfits are always practical, with a sturdy jacket, pants, and boots. Lack has a favorite brown cap, which she is loathe to remove, as it's a comfort object.

L I K E S

■ Animals. Lackadaisy has always been a lover of animals. In addition to her adventuring, she is currently writing a book on the strengths and weaknesses of animals for people to use in battle preparation.

■ Art. Art was one of Lack's favorite school subjects. She's always had an innate talent. She is illustrating her own animal encyclopedia.

■ Hat. Lackadaisy has a favorite brown cap that she purchased for herself to celebrate a successful free company mission. She doesn't like taking it off, except when she is inside, out of politeness.

D I S L I K E S

■ Enclosed spaces. Lackadaisy has lived in the open skies and next to the open seas of La Noscea her entire life. Even houses with closed doors make her a little skittish.

■ Gobbues. She's allergic to moss, which isn't great when you're living in a wet environment. Fighting a giant moss creature doesn't make that any better.

■ Being called a child. Lack has done a lot to prove herself, and thus hates being called a child. She also finds it racist.

■ Embarassment. She's very easily flustered and embarrassed. As a consequence, she blushes a lot.

■ Hair. She plays with her hair while thinking or nervous. She both twirls her hair and chews on it.

■ Gloves. She hates wearing gloves, and will avoid wearing them whenever possible.
