Marrow had been alone for most of her life. She was born in the wild snow of Coerthas, and abandoned as a baby. She was found by a group of Black Mages who happened across where she was abandoned.

While Natalie was uncertain of what to make of the girl, they still became good friends. It was then she was introduced to certain adventurers throughout Eorzea, such as Chokho Viqqoh, C'kayah Nunh, and Kage Kiryuu. She made a lot of friends.

Months later, the knowledge of Natalie's death found it's way to her. Marrow fell into a deep depression, and fled Eorzea to the icy lands of Coerthas and Ishgard. Hiding out in an abandoned shelter in the middle of Coerthas, she eventually started making her way back to her home of Gridania, and decided to live out in an abandoned house in the living districts. Some time later, a group known as the Anemos Circle, now the Silver Lily, had bought and refurbished the house, with Marrow living in a secret room inside the house, occasionally using a stealth generator to sneak into their food pantry.

Marrow is short; shorter than most Au Ra, easily only around four feet tall. Her face is littered with various marks, created by deep scars in the face tissue. She also has a large X crossing her small chest, from the front all the way meeting at her spine, likely how the Allagan Engine was placed into her.
