Music CHILDHOOD Josuke was born into slavery, Born to a Raen mother and Xaela father he took after his mother in regards to his scales. He never knew his parents, Nor would any slave born in the doman slave camps. Josuke lived a dark life at the age of 5 being selected for the ranks of labor slaves to work in The Officer's brothels. Suffering for 5 years at the hands of various Garlean Officers, Josuke was eventually was selected as a personal slave for a Chief Engineer, While not experimented on Josuke was heavily tortured during this time resulting in the scarring on his back. While aboard a airship bound from Doma, Josuke tossed himself from the ship into The Ruby Sea, Before being fished out by a passing Maelstorm scout ship. TEENAGE Fished out of the water by A passing scouting party, Josuke was taken into the care of a Mi'qote Red Mage named V'anta Vyaka. A simple Storm SGT. 2nd class it was a transition from a life of slavery to a struggle adjusting to normal life. Josuke spent most nights sleeping on the roof of the barracks afraid of sleeping near other people. It was during this time that Josuke's Echo manifested itself for the first time, Easily able to read the storybooks left to him by his Foster Father. Josuke Enlisted into The Maelstrom at the age of 12, Become a page to V'anta and studying under him and others within The Smoke Squadron. Josuke natural appitutde for martial arts allowed him to study from The Maraduers, The Pikemen, and The Gladiators. Josuke raised up in the ranks of The Maelstrom rising to Chief Storm Sgt. at the age of 17. ADULTHOOD Following a peaceful 5 years of training Josuke's life would be turned on it's head. For a period of 6 months V'anta disappeared for suddenly returning one day with a proposition for Josuke. A trip into The Churning Mist to slay a Dragon, A simple enough task for two skilled warriors. This Dragon was far from typical. Myndesdun The White Scale, Was a dreadful beast a giant in terms of the typical dragons of the area. The battle was hardfaught with V'anta being bisected, His lower half devoured by the beast. The Mi'qote using the last of his aether to blow one of the teeth from the mouth of the dragon, Josuke used this fang to stab into the eye of the dragon killing it. Following the battle Josuke carved a large chunk of white scales from the back of the beast as well as cutting off one of it's smaller wings. Taking The Red Mage Soul stone from his now deceased Foster Father, Josuke cremated The Mi'qote with the body of The Dragon. It was during this time that Josuke had visions of Shiva, Perhaps hallucentations, The origins unknown. Following his return from The Churning Mist, Josuke retired from The Maelstrom, Joining a mercenary company known as The Black Dogs. Josuke lived a basic life within The Dogs, Taking all gil earned from his jobs and placing it into savings. It was during this time The Dogs we're drafted into The Liberation of Doma, Spending 1 year following the war studying the eastern swordstyle of Laijutsu, Josuke had a blade forged from Dragonsteel, With the hilt wrapped in the white scales of Myndesdun. PRESENT Returning home from Doma, Josuke now trained in All forms of Martial combat decided to take up magic. But following a run in with a Garlean Scientist Josuke's aether has been locked away from his use, Returning once more to the eastern swordsmanship, Josuke has dedicated his life to the prevention of slavery and suffering from the vagrant youth of Eozera, Establishing an adventure's guild in Limsa Lominsa, Josuke used his saved gil from 13 years of combat to purchase a former doman embassy in The Mist. Conflicts, friendships, rivalries, violence, and drama are strongly encouraged. I prefer romance to happen organically and Tiergan Vashir said it best, "I do not actively search for RP romances. I really enjoy romantic tension and romantic feelings as a source of conflict for a story, but romance RP itself is not one of the main focuses of my RP." ■ DON'T - Character death is not allowed unless I feel the time is right.
