Tall, standing proud at around 217cm and lanky with long arms and legs. Clad in dark, heavy armor from head to toe, although he is always seen without a helmet. Rather than that, he wears a bandana that covers his left eye. He is often seen wearing a hood over his head and a dark, tattered cloak covering the shiny, inky blue armor. Carrying on his back is a massive great sword, Nothung. Its edges look sharp enough to cut anything and one straying too close to it may think it hums quietly with an air of seething anger emanating from it. Aspects That Stand Out: ■ Because of his rather outlandish name, Roxian is often thought to be from some faraway foreign country. It's not too far off the truth but when asked, Roxian will not spill the truth. ■ Being in the presence of Roxian for extended periods of time may induce feelings of nausea or weakness for those sensitive to aether. ■ Roxian prefers to stay on the outskirts, keeping a distance to others. Maybe because he is reserved, maybe for the safety of others. Perhaps both. PERSONALITY Rather oblivious to other people's feelings so he may come off as rude or uncaring. Then again, Roxian is a little on the rude side anyway and he is often times called a jerk. Has a bit of a superiority complex which can be difficult for others to deal with. He is also more on the arrogant side anyway. Wound his pride and he'll probably want to hurt you. Despite his rough exterior, Roxian is playful and mischievous when in the company of friends or when he's with someone who's not quite his friend but he sees them as someone who can take a joke. In some cases he'll be mischievous just to piss someone off. He is an asshole after all. Roxian has what seems to be a split personality disorder but it's not quite the textbook version of it. He is very insecure about his body and hates having others see him without his armor on. Roxian has severe trust issues and is only able to truly trust his childhood friend and guardian Toraga. He is for the most part calm as long as people keep a respectful distance or don't aim to aggravate him. He is not afraid to draw his greatsword to defend himself. He rarely draws his blade to defend others. Roxian likes to keep a distance to others, often found on the outskirts of gatherings rather than in the midst of it all. He prefers to observe and always stay on guard. His past career as a Dragoon further enhances this trait ■ His dark knight abilities are stronger than average ■ Is capable of handling void magick though he is still learning to control it. As he is a little clumsy on the magick side of things, he'll more often than not lose control of the void magicks. However, he is not harmed much at all when he loses control of the magicks, he'll most likely feel what is like a small electric shock ■ Can withstand heavy punishment; his vitality is greatly enhanced by his voidsent blood and he heals quickly. He also has high tolerance to pain ■ Has extensive knowledge of poisons and in fact is immune to them ■ Excellent at stealth and staying hidden WEAKNESSES ■ Ice and holy magicks ■ Able to be controlled by someone who is knowledgeable in the ways of void magicks/voidsent summoning. He can't be fully controlled as he is only half-voidsent, but enough to make him do things he normally wouldn't ■ Extremely distrustful, has major difficulties making friends or allies for that matter ■ Roxian has crippling aquaphobia, meaning he cannot stand being near large bodies of water. He does know how to swim, but put him in water and he'll forget how to swim because of the fear paralyzing him ■ His eyes are more sensitive to light and he can be momentarily blinded by seemingly not-that-bright lights ■ Very prideful so hurting his pride aggravates him quick ■ May lose control over his body from time to time under stress, usually resulting in temporarily paralyzed limbs ■ Can get a little too cocky for his own good MOTIVATIONS ■ Searching for answers to the questions he has ■ Finding himself and his purpose in life ■ Trying to right the wrongs he has done in the past Technique/Weapons Roxian uses a mixture of physical attacks with his great sword, dark arts and the occasional void magicks to varying levels of success. He is capable of surprisingly quick movements even when weighed down by Nothung and Roxian is capable of wielding Nothung with one hand as if it was weightless. His most used tactic is to try and surprise and outpace his enemy with his alarming agility with a great sword and dark magicks. He is also known to take grave risks, relying on his vastly enhanced healing and vitality to withstand even major injuries. ✦ Weapon: The great sword Nothung is Roxian's primary weapon. He also uses dark arts and little void magick. OOC NOTES OOC INFORMATION Player Note I have a very clear distinction when it comes to OOC/IC. They must remain separate at all times if we are to RP together, especially on an extended basis and I reserve the right to end interactions should this be impeded upon. I've been burnt heavily by people mistaking IC care and OOC friendship and attention with romantic regard and honestly I don't wish to go through another such debacle once more. If my character dislikes yours that does not mean I hold the same sentiment. If my character loves yours that does not translate to me feeling the same for you, though I might feel a platonic equivalent. I am not my characters and they are not me. Respect this and we shall get along famously. Personal RP Limits I don't have very many hardcore limits honestly as I feel consequences must be adhered to when RPing any character regardless of whom they might be. However there are a few exceptions to this and they are as follows. ■ I will play Almost anything that isn't described below. ■ I won't play Death, Rape, Maiming, ERP only Plots. I don't mind romance but it needs to be earned and respected. Do not try and force your character on to mine. If I feel this is the case I will quickly end the RP and speak with you OOCly to either correct the issue or end the RP connection between the two in a faithful manner both parties can agree upon. I can get pretty into RPing out consequences however and while I do my best to make sure permission is had and everyone is comfortable I'm not perfect. If you have a problem speak up. ■ This is a broad statement for all my characters, but I have a hard limit of at least two months before I'll allow my character to enter a relationship. A good friend mentioned their own rule regarding this and I greatly respected the idea of it, so I'll be putting it into practice myself. I've been burned far too many times by hasty RP relationships and want to make it clear from the get go so there is no misunderstanding. If your character is trying to romance my own, be prepared for it to take awhile.
