When fighting broke out, Laille was in Rhalgr's Reach, disappearing after being separated from her unit for months before finding her way back to Ul'dah. It is there that she hopes to rebuild a semblance of the life she had before the war. Although she won't hesitate to give a piece of her mind when asked to, Laille is comfortable to sit in the background and observe a situation or gathering, often not approaching others until she's approached herself. If approached, Laille is often warm, if not a bit guarded until she gets to know the individual better. That isn't to say she won't do her best to endear herself to any she meets. Approach her and strike up a conversation! About Laille is quick to take up a conversation when approached, though a friendship often needs to wait for a meeting or three before she's able to size up her new acquaintances. Before leaving to participate in the war, Laille was often seen around the Quicksand, daggers at her side as she scanned the crowd for familiar faces. She briefly worked with The Velvet Rose as a member of their Thorns, a group tasked with keeping clientele safe during their visits. Upon returning, however, Laille has inexplicably taken an interest in red magic, a rapier often found by her side. Where she learned the art while missing is anyone's best guess, but Laille has yet to open up about the change. Notes: ■ An RP tag will indicate I am in-character and looking to RP. PERSONALITY Quiet when getting to know someone, and almost impossible to get to stop talking once she's comfortable with her surroundings, Laille can be a handful. She will anger quickly when she feels her friends or company-mates have been insulted and isn't afraid to throw a punch or two when provoked. Before, Laille would often approach dangerous situations openly, knowing her skills with the daggers were exceptional. Since returning, however, Laille is much more reserved when faced with danger, possibly uncertain of her new discipline. Laille stumbled upon her when she returned to Ul'dah, and the two worked extensively on getting Laille's personal life back up and running. Ashemmi Yarkul, first love interest, first contact in Ul'dah. - A valuable mentor. Character's Thoughts: "I wonder what's become of her now... " Ashemmi was the first to greet Laille upon her arrival in Ul'dah. The pair grew close and eventually became bonded before Laille's partner disappeared under strange circumstances. Her importance in getting Laille accustomed to life in Ul'dah can't be understated. Sinon Zahra, acquaintance, current. (★) - Old acquaintance Character's Thoughts: "Perhaps she can help me with black magic..." Laille met Sinon during her time at the Velvet Rose, her place of employment upon arriving in Ul'dah. Laille is currently considering her options for approaching Sinon about black magic. Sarangerel Chinua, acquaintance, current. (★) - Work acquaintance Character's Thoughts: "So much strength for such a quiet girl..." Laille met Sara St the Velvet Rose as well, getting to know the girl a bit and entrusting her to help solve one of her more personal issues. The pair also worked to help another company mate during her time at the Rose as well. Kujyaku Hime, former SO, close friend. - A close friend. Character's Thoughts: "I miss our trips around La Noscea. " Laille's former partner and a close friend, this pair could often be found exploring La Noscea for spots to relax. Laille hasn't seen her in a while, but she still visits some of the spots they discovered from time to time.
