General

Jack is a painfully optimistic adventurer with a wild streak and an eerily precise gut feeling. Incredibly lucky in his messy past, he travels to Eorzea randomly, and likes it. At least, he's not bored of it yet. He life is filled with experience, far more than he should have, given he is only 19.

Nicknames and Aliases: Jack, JackJack, Jacky boy, Mr. Walker, Alphonse Smithington (for one high class party), Captain Jack, Anklebiter, St. Peter

Appearance

Jack is roughly 6' tall. Tall for a midlander, but compared to highlanders, he might as well be a lalafell. He dresses in whatever he thinks looks good. The downside in this is that he will wear the same clothes for several days. He hates jewelry, particularly earrings, and will go without them in most- if not, all- situations.

Speech

Very casual, only using formal mannerisms such as "sir" or "ma'am" ironically and sarcastically. He will use them unironically, but only if the situation truly calls for such behavior.

Behavior

Very positive and optimistic, almost too much so. He likes making people happy, seeing them smile is the reward. He is unexpectedly loyal to a cause he believes in, whether that be a person or organization.

He doesn't dislike fighting, but he doesn't like it either. His favorite quote is "Jack of all trades" meaning he fights how he likes. His top three roles are Warrior, Archer, and Dragoon. He doesn't like being called a "Bard" because "it sounds weird. Doesn't fit me at all." He has no affinity for magic. He can perform low level spells, but he burnt people with his last fire spell so he steers clear from the magical arts as of now.

DISLIKES ■ Murderers and rapists. He thinks of them as "less than the barnacles on the underside of a ship." ■ Pain. He's gotten used to it, but he still doesn't like it. ■ Negativity. He's way too optimistic and will not put up with a "downer."

Jack's family are all deceased, and their records wiped from any family registries. Jack doesn't mind, he doesn't dwell on the past. His only memory of any family is that of his sister, Melody, who died from a head injury at the age of 9 while playing on some ice with Jack.

I based the appearance off the CG Warrior you see in the main cutscene, who just so happens to look like me, so it works out splendidly. Personality-wise, he's also based on me, but more extroverted. I try to be what you would read about a Sagittarius on a horoscope blog.
