Basic Info

Enzeru was born a demon but takes the form of a Miqo'te Keeper of the Moon. Not long after he was born, he was stolen away from his parents by a pair of Doman researchers who were researching demons and voidsent. They took him back to Limsa Lominsa, where they reside as guests of the Admiral and are employed by her to carry out their research. Growing up, Enzeru was subjected to many magical experiments aimed at locking away his voidsent abilities and severing his connection to the Void. These experiments finally succeeded but left him with memory loss up to his teenage years. To explain the memory loss, his adopted Doman parents, told him he had been found in the wreckage of a ship off the coast of Costa Del Sol and that they had taken him in.

The only two he could consider relatives are his adopted parents, the one who abducted him from his real family. His father is a white mage and his mother is a scholar. Both of them work as researches under the direction of the Admiral.

Positive

Devin Grey - Presently the only one Enzeru feels close enough to to consider a mate. They did not seem to like each other so much first but, after some time, they became very close and fell for each other. Enzeru would do anything for this one, even sacrifice himself if need be.
Rubh'a Lerhevah - A Miqo'te that Enzeru would consider one of his closest friends. They may not get to see each other very often but, Enzeru is always happy to see the Keeper.
A'dria Tia - A beautiful male Miqo'te Seeker that Enzeru met one day in the Quicksand and instantly took a strong liking to. Though their paths ended up going in opposite directions, Enzeru silently holds a flame for A'dria still and would do almost anything for him if asked.

Birth and childhood (0-10)

During this period, Enzeru was the subject of many magical experiments performed by his abductors, or adopted parents. He does not remember anything from this time, no matter how hard he tries nor with any magical assistance.

Teen Years

Enzeru woke up one day with his adopted parents hovering over him. He did not know who he was or where he was. During his teenage years, Enzeru spent most of the time at the Arcanist Guild receiving his education and training there. Enzeru excelled in his work as an arcanist, quickly surpassing those of his own age.

Adulthood

Enzeru remained with the Arcanists Guild for a while until he was sent to assist the Dutiful Sisters of Edelweiss on some missions dealing with stolen cargo. During this time, he picked up a pair of daggers and started training with them during his off-time and he got to know the rogues at the guild. The more time Enzeru spent with the rogues, the more he decided he wished to be one of them. Enzeru left the Arcanist Guild and went off to be one of the rogues and learn from them. Once with the rogues, Enzeru rose quickly through the ranks and went on to learn the ways of ninjitsu from the Domans.

The Admiral took notice of Enzeru's skill and reputation after hearing of his occupation change from Enzeru's adopted parents. She pulled him into the Maelstrom then and he was soon sent on missions involving stealth, sabotage, and assassinations against the Garleans and beast tribes. On his fourth mission against the Garleans, at Castrum Occidens, Enzeru ended up captured when he was discovered tampering with an experimental vanguard. He was interrogated for days before finally being given over to the second in command at the castrum to be his personal plaything. Enzeru endured moons under the thumb of the Garlean officer, being subjected to much but never truly breaking. He only escaped when he managed to slit the throat of the officer when the man was sleeping.

During the time Enzeru spent with the Garleans, the magical seal that had been placed on him by his adopted parents began to crack and he was already noticing signs of strange changes in himself. Enzeru returned to Limsa Lominsa after his ordeal and was given leave to recover both mentally and physically. During his leave, he took up learning how to cook from the master culinarians at the Bismarck and jewelry making from the goldsmiths' guild in Ul'dah. He found both activities to be therapeutic but that seal continued to crack and eventually shatter. Once the seal shattered, he found himself having darker thoughts, a hunger for blood, a greatly increased libido and reports from people that he smelled like the oddest things at times. Several would report he smelled like chocolate though he'd not have been near any for days or like other things such as the forest or a wind-swept meadow.

Enzeru returned to the Maelstrom and, after some hesitance from his superiors, he was once again sent to fight against the Garleans. The ninja fought with even more ferocity than he had before, finding himself having an all new level of hatred for those people. He started to feed off of Garlean soldiers he defeated and found he enjoyed the thrill even more. Enzeru had become stronger, faster than before and became a perfect little killing machine for the Maelstrom.

During one of his down periods, he spent time in Ul'dah and ended up meeting a Miqo'te man that he was instantly taken with. It was damned near love at first sight. Enzeru invited the man to Limsa Lominsa to have dinner with him there and to spend some time getting to know each other. During their time together after dinner, Enzeru was overtaken by his darker side and ended up hurting the man he so adored. He did his best to take care of the man he had injured until he was well enough to leave. For weeks afterwards, Enzeru avoided the other man while beating himself up for what he had done. He resolved to try to suppress or seal away that darker side of himself again. Enzeru took another leave from the Maelstrom so he could begin training with the Paladins to learn better discipline and how to better protect those he cared about and then the White Mages so he might try to learn some way to better suppress the darkness and help those in need.
