General

Asai was born into one of the few fighter clans of the Raen. At first the young girl was rebellious against her father, the general and guard of the clan leader. Lazy and uncaring the she continued through her life, yet soon after her 15th summer Asai's father was struck by a poisonous arrow meant for the leader of a clan from a rival Xaela clan. Soon after Asai's father fell ill, the once lazy child felt sickened by her actions more so by her father still loving her no matter what. Asai doubled her efforts after that to bring some sort of honor and peace to her father after the physicians were unable to do anything for him. Her father's death was not a quick one, outdrawn and very painful Asai had to watch the once great man lose all his strength before dying. Before her fathers dying day Asai was able to make it as ranger captain at the age of 23. With pride in his heart he was able to pass on to the aether. The year that followed was some what peaceful but filled with torment and doubt for Asai who believed she could of been a better daughter to her father and mother. Returning from a scouting mission but a year later Asai found the clan village in ruins, most buildings had been burnt and there was no one left alive apart from the scouting party. Asai searched for her mother only to find her with a number of wounds buried under the remains of their home, the woman explained that it was not Xaela that had done this but beings clad in armors unknown to them and metal contraptions. Asai watched the life slip from her mother while gripping her bow the last gift from her parents. Not long after Asai buried her mother next to her father and left the lands to travel to the unknown worlds for answers.

She Likes! ■ Traveling. Asai enjoys the woods and animals. ■ Woodland and forests. Asai enjoys the woods and forests of the shroud more than any other place. Calming and relaxing to her. ■ The sea and water. Asai as a strange fascination with water and the sea, where she is from the clan revered the water elements . ■ Freedom. Asai enjoys being able to wander how she see's fit..

But Dislikes... ■ Deforesting. Asai hates to see beautiful areas of forests being torn down for what people say is for the good of their kin or kind.. ■ Garleans. After finding out who these people were she now knows what killed her clan.. ■ Mindless fighting. After seeing her father have to clean up after mindless zaelots. The Auri is not fond of those who blindly follow beliefs without seeing into what they mean."

Her Strengths! ■ Achery. Asai has a great skill with a bow, sharp eye sight and a deadly aim the Auri woman barely ever fails a shot. ■ Survival. After living in the wilderness of her own clans surroundings, Asai is able to life of the land fairly well and track well enough also. ■ Open minded. Asai tries to remain as open minded as possible in these new lands, to her these are steps she must take carefully and always remain on her toes.. ■ Hunter / Pathfinder. Asai's survival instincts come from a deep understanding of the world around her. A gifted hunter and tracker due to her place in her clan.

And Weaknesses... ■ Language barrier. Asai is still learning the Eorzean language and somestimes find herself tongue tied or may say the wrong works. ■ Lonely. After she was left with no one other than some of her subordinates who in turn left or were killed Asai has spent a lot of time alone, She has a bit of a rough outlook on company sometimes.. ■ Emotions. With her clan being so prideful and reserved, Asai has slowly grown to have an almost flat personality to those she barely knows. Keeping her feelings and thoughts to herself and locking away her emotions.

Also Quirks! ■ Romantic Novels. Asai has began to enjoy these sometimes corny and steamy novels read to her by Aiswynd, however sometimes this leads to her using words she really shouldn't when talking on Eorzean.. ■ Flexible. Asai is able to manoeuvre around rather well with a tone frame and quick reflexes. ■ Language This still causes Asai some issue but often uses words she has heard from novels which can result in awkward situations!. ■ Paints. Asai's clan often used light colors of paint to indicate what jobs they did. Asai wears light teal colored patterns often, this indicates her profession as a ranger and pathfinder..

Personality

Asai may come across as being a little quiet and without personality at first. She is quiet and thoughtful and not one to throw herself head first into any situations very often. Yet the Auri can be kind and helpful once she gets to know those around her. Willingness to learn and understand much of the world she has stepped into Asai has become somewhat mixed with her emotions and remains reserved often enough.

Appearance

Elegent claw like golden horns and scales adore her body, standing a little taller than most of her kin with a toned body due to her profession. Long dark blue hair that is often tied up in a ponytail to keep it from her vision, few teal strands of hair peek through the blue tresses. Deep blue eyes with light blue glowing limbal rings. Asai holds a mature face yet no less beautiful, with her some what neutral expression she looks approachable enough.

Ranger

As a child Asai always wass very gifted with a bow much like her mother, but due to being lazy and uncaring about her skills or family honor at first she hardly ever used her skills, that is unless she was doing something she wasn't meant to be. With a keen sense and sharp eyesight Asai gain the nickname "Keeneye"

Close Quarters combat Aside from her ability with a bow Asai is able to fight with knives.Which she may lack the strength of others her reflexes allow her to land blows that would other wise be awkward to others.Few times she has been able to take down someone much larger than herself due to her this leaves her being a force to be reckoned with.

Melee Asai is beginning to learn melee combat from Aiswynd, while still new to it she is picking it up rather quickly..

Magical Asai is curious about magics, her clan had those who were more attuned to it. She does enjoy reading and wishes to see if she can actually do more with it

Miscellaneous Skills

Life in the road does not only mean combat. One must be able to be independent, feed themselves, keep their equipment in check, able to make money, alongside several other challenges. To survive this long, Leanne had to learn and to adapt, and as such, she developed several skills to help her with her journey, and consequently, day-to-day life.

Maintenance Not a blacksmith or a jewelrycrafter, Asai is able to repair leather armor and some weapons. Through being in the wilderness sometimes one must repair their equipment with items they find..

Cooking Asai can cook through she is more or less just use to cooking to survive.

Fishing Asai does enjoy fishing and finds it rather relaxing.

Asai met Aiswynd after she was hired in the Redwings, the Auri woman had applied when she found herself surprisingly in need of gil. Now partnered with the Xaela on guard duties within the company Asai has found that the two share a great deal in comment. The love for the outdoors and the forests, Asai is content to spent time in his company talking or listening to him read his romantic novels to her (which sometimes results in her using words she really shouldn't.) Aiswynd has also been teaching Asai how to talk and understand Eorzean languages. Asai may refuse that she might feel perhaps a bit more for the Xaela than she cares to admit.
