“In a world filled with misery and uncertainty, it is a great comfort to know that, in the end, there is a light in the darkness.”
- Joshua Graham, Fallout: New Vegas -
“You are fearless. Not in the sense that you feel no fear; I know better than to think you that foolish. But you do not let it hold you back, and there is power in that.”

Little Tidbits/Offsite Fun
Sometimes he is wandering Ul'dah, mostly the markets, laughing and gossiping about the local elites. Here he is affable, charming, and always interested in the latest goings-on. He asks about their families, their business, their travels, soaking in the knowledge that only Ul'dah traders can offer. His dusty clothes and scars mark him as an outsider, and yet people are compelled to speak with him, reading him as non-threatening. They see him enough, and while he is poor, he does good business when he can.
When he is Gridania, out in the wilds, he is a different man. He is an archer by training. His keen pink eyes watch everything, every flutter of a tree leaf, every creak and crack of branches and twigs. While he is new with a bow, he studies intently and practices often. The usually grinning mouth is set in a thin line of concentration. This is where he hunts, and something old in his blood takes over as he sets his bow on beast and beastmen alike.
In either place, you can find him sitting up in a high place, soaking up the sun and fresh air as he sharpens and fletches his arrows. A bow, worn but lovingly cared for, sits across his lap. It is the only quiet moment he gets, in between his adventures. Feathers, glue, wax, wood, metal. It all comes together to make a most precise weapon. The tests set by the Archer's Guild are becoming more and more difficult, and he aims to impress them. Perhaps, one day, he will amount to something greater.
Aspects That Stand Out:
■ T'Shareh has bright pink eyes that sparkle with a hidden joy, even when he otherwise looks serious.
■ His face is scarred, the result of some close encounters back when he was a thaumaturge.
■ T'Shareh has three black dot tattoos on the temples on either side of his head.
History
Born T'leppepo Dhejoh in 1557 SAE, she was considered by her tribe to be a tremendously successful young woman. Skilled in thaumaturgy, she was set to be a fine representative of her tribe. And yet, she did not feel like a she, ever. So when she came of age, she cast off her old name and became he – T'shareh Tia. His tribe welcomed his new status. It was rare, but not unheard of, for one to be born the way that they were not inside. Still, his tribe did not have the resources to teach him more than the basics of thaumaturgy, and thus sent him to Ul'dah to learn from the Thaumaturge's Guild.
The Calamity struck two years into his training. T'shareh saw was the decimation did to Ul'dah, and the plight of the refugees. To that end, he worked what magic he could for them, keeping their fires warm at night and their water cool during the day. He worked diligently and with cheer, delighting those he came in contact with. One day, he helped a refugee who, in payment, gave T'shareh his only possession – a bow, too worn to be of any use in battle, but decorated beautifully. It stirred something in him, this bow. To that end, in the dead of night, he sneaked from his rooms in the Thaumaturge's Guild, packed his things, and set out for Gridania, where he knew the finest archers gathered and trained.
He did not use the beautiful bow for war, but after being accepted into the Archer's Guild after barely passing their test, he kept it in his room by his bedside, as a reminder of those who had helped him along his way.
Notes:
■ T'shareh was born in the T tribe, but his mother moved away after his father was dispatched as Nunh.
■ One day, he wants to learn how to combine thaumaturgy and archery.
■ T'shareh identifies as a gay man.
Appearance
A fairly short Miqo'te, cool tawny skin much like the sandstone brick behind him, stands at a market stall, chatting with a Lalafellian merchant and her wife. He grins, light pink eyes sparkling with mirth. As the woman speaks to him, he pushes some stray deep brown hairs away. They escaped his otherwise immaculate braid. The ribbon tying the end might be the most expensive item adorning him which, on closer inspection, is made of silk and gold thread. Every once in a white, he shifts, adjusting his vest. The buckles clink. The vest seems oddly fit, a little rumpled, but easily passed off as a cheap piece of work. As he listens to the latest in Ul'dahn gossip, his dark brown tail twitches with interest, the black tip flicking back and forth.
Something about his stance keeps him apart from the rest. It is a certain swagger, but it seems almost practiced rather than natural. He leans on one leg and kicks out the heel on his opposite foot, but it is obvious that it's not a common stance for him. Still, most pass it off as the arrogance of a young, blustering Miqo'te male. It is also odd that he would be dressed in layers and long boots and gloves, considering the blistering heat of the summer sun, and the slight tug at his shirt and pants shows that he knows it. All and all, an strange character, but Ul'dah sees all sorts these days.
Notes:
■ T'shareh's transgender status would not be noticed just by looking at him, or hearing him. He binds his chest and wears many layers of clothing to hide his body.
■ He refuses to cut his hair, instead keeping it in a long braid.
■ T'shareh's hair lightens and has reddish tinges in the sun.
PERSONALITY
You see him the next table over in the pub, the Miqo’te. It’s hard not to see him, and harder still not to hear him. He talks in a high voice, loudly, with animated hand gestures to match his story. His friends’ tankards are empty, and though his has barely been touched, he summons the waitress for another round, passing over a handful of dusty gil coins, much to the delight of the table. When the turn for stories passes, he listens intently, ears twitching in interest at his friends’ exploits. One, two sips of his drink. His friends talk of grand adventures to places that you’ve barely heard of, and the Miqo’te’s tail twitches back and forth with excitement.
There is one man in particular he seems focused on, a Roegadyn man he is intent on flattering. The Roegadyn man laughs at a lewd joke the Miqo’te made, and makes one in kind. Though the Miqo’te can dish it out, he can’t take it, and blushes lightly under the implications. The table laughs uproariously, and he joins in eventually. It seems he can take a joke more than he can take a compliment.

Technique/Weapons
T’shareh tries so very hard to be silent, but like in every other part of his life, his volume gives him away. What he lacks in stealth, he’s had to learn to make up in speed - the hard way, because if you’re on the road and out of rations, you hunt or you starve. Thankfully, T’shareh is quick on his feet and his reflexes are fast.
✦ Weapon: T’shareh has a standard-issue feathered longbow from the Archer’s Guild. He has replaces the decorative white feathers with grey ones from the nearby vultures, as tokens of his hunt.

OOC information for YOU
I use a fairly simple /random roll based combat system wherein one rolls to attack, and the other(s) roll to defend, with high roll winning. Descriptions of attacks are a must, and status effect placement requires a separate roll win.
I am open to gore and injuries that take days or weeks to recover from. However, permanent injury or disfigurement must be heavily discussed ahead of time, and I do not play death or torture for any reason.

I have a very clear distinction when it comes to OOC/IC. They must remain separate at all times if we are to RP together, especially on an extended basis and I reserve the right to end interactions should this be impeded upon. I've been burnt heavily by people mistaking IC care and OOC friendship and attention with romantic regard and honestly I don't wish to go through another such debacle once more. If my character dislikes yours that does not mean I hold the same sentiment. If my character loves yours that does not translate to me feeling the same for you, though I might feel a platonic equivalent. I am not my characters and they are not me. Respect this and we shall get along famously.
Personal RP Limits
I don't have very many hardcore limits honestly as I feel consequences must be adhered to when RPing any character regardless of whom they might be. However there are a few exceptions to this and they are as follows.
■ I will play Almost anything that isn't described below.
■ I won't play Death, Rape, Maiming, ERP only Plots. I don't mind romance but it needs to be earned and respected. Do not try and force your character on to mine. If I feel this is the case I will quickly end the RP and speak with you OOCly to either correct the issue or end the RP connection between the two in a faithful manner both parties can agree upon.
Disclaimer
Little Tidbits.
■ If you're ever uncomfortable, tell me! I don't bite! I can get pretty into RPing out consequences however and while I do my best to make sure permission is had and everyone is comfortable I'm not perfect. If you have a problem speak up.
■ This is a broad statement for all my characters, but I have a hard limit of at least two months before I'll allow my character to enter a relationship. A good friend mentioned their own rule regarding this and I greatly respected the idea of it, so I'll be putting it into practice myself. I've been burned far too many times by hasty RP relationships and want to make it clear from the get go so there is no misunderstanding. If your character is trying to romance my own, be prepared for it to take awhile.
CHARACTER TIDBITS
Potential Plot Hooks
While the below is by no means comprehensive, it's a kind of spring board for walk-up RP.
■ Shinobi
■ Often seen just hiding away in a corner
■ Always drinking tea or Sake
