Bio
- Within the Eryut tribe of the Golmore Jungle, Ysera was well trained in the art of conjury, healing the sick and tending to the woods. Due to the increasing danger of Garlean occupation however, Ysera fled from her tribe in the Golmore Jungle—never to return again. She took the name of Iliara and adapted to city life as a wandering dancer. With city life however, Iliara felt her prior connection to conjury and nature begin to wane.
- Continuing to wander, Iliara charmed her way onto a ship heading to Eorzea. It was there, at sea... without the cover of trees or bright city lights to dim the sky that she first began to really notice the stars' beauty. As her voyage continued, the viera began to notice particular formations of stars... and a connection between her and the heavens slowly began to form. One night underneath the humbling gaze of the full moon, Iliara received a vision. Continuing on its path, her ship and its crew would be struck by the creature Siren--shipwrecked and surrounded by the creature’s thralls underneath a bright celestial lights. Aware of this possibility of fate, the viera urged the ship's captain to diverge off from its course, likely saving many lives. After arriving in Eorzea, she adopted the name Brightmoon and studied the art of astromancy.
