Rumors
“You ever heard a sin-eater speak? Me neither. But they say there's one out there who sings.” — Veteran sellsword
“That adventurer still comes by sometimes. Orders two drinks, but only finishes one. Says the other’s for a ghost who never got to see the stars.” — Bartender of the Wandering Stairs
“She lived three boats down from mine. Never begged, never fought over scraps. Just hunted, fished, shared what little she had with the others and that kid of hers. Called her ‘little star.” — One-legged Fisherman with a hand-carved rod
“There was a time when Eulmore still had a spine — soldiers fought, and little girls lit the way. Called ’em Minfilias. Oracles of Light. Each one burned bright, and fast. None of ’em saw twenty. Some folk leave to die. Aurora left to fight. Said if the light was coming for her, it’d have to earn the kill.” — Grizzled ex-scout

“She was the last one out. Always. Didn’t matter if it was a nest full of sin-eaters or some forsaken ruin. Said the job wasn’t over till she didn’t come back.” — Huntboard regular “Some fight because they’ve got nothing left. She never took her pay. Gave it to some kids in the Derelicts or left it with the innkeeper. Said gold couldn’t buy her anything she wanted anymore.” — Innworker near the Pendants “She was good with kids. Once a small one got lost in the market, she found them and calmed them down without breaking a sweat.” — Vendor in Musica Universalis

"Rumor goes here." Name goes here.

History
Born in Kohlusia a few decades after the Flood of Light, she joined the Eulmoran Army in her youth and fought against sin-eaters along side the girls chosen as Oracles of Light. When Vulthery came into power thirty years ago, annoucing Eulmore's transformation into what it is now and its changes in policy, she alongside many comrades chose to quit and continue to fight as vigilantes. However, without official support, their numbers would eventually dwindle due to being killed, infected in action, or old age. She raised the child of a fallen comrade while living in the Derelicts underneath the new Eulmore. Seeing how Eulmore had changed, she would eventaully become infected when the child became a sin-eater as well.
Determined to fight the wicked light until her last breath, she chose to go to the Crystarium and take on suicide missions, trying to die on the battlefield against sin-eaters instead of waiting for a slow death at the Inn. There, she was unexpectedly saved time and time again by another adventurer, Mulberry, who's got a crush on her. They grew close while Aurora's conditions continued to detroite. Eventually, she would tell her the truth and ask her to kill her before she turned. She turns into a sin-eater if Mulberry was unable to deal the final blow.
OOC
The character was first created because I wanted to explore the years before Vulthery when Eulmore was actively fighting the sin-eaters for decades, the many Oracles of Light who had died before Minfilia's rebirth in Ryne, and all the people who did not live to see the arrival of the Warrior of Darkness.
She chose Aurora as her name because with the eternal daylight, it was impossible for anyone to see the aurora in The First. She lived her entire life without seeing the nightsky.
She dies a few years before Shadowbringers, when WoL (or WoD I guess) arrives in The First.
