His skin is mostly unmarred by scars due to preferring the company of his books rather than a sword. His body is also kept in surprisingly good shape due to his recent duties, wielding more strength than he would appear to. Medium length hair naturally tends to fall over his right eye, though never enough so to actually obscure his vision. Lighter strands of silver and grey can also be seen within his natural charcoal hair color, an early case of greying following his family. He doesn’t seem to mind however. Though barely noticable his eyes are mismatched, the one hidden by his hair a muted shade of blue and the other a stormy grey accenting large, round pupils. A’stre is always sure to make sure he is presentable as part of his work. He is also fond of grooming himself, never going too long without a proper bath and often visiting public bathhouses or spas if too far from the privacy of his own. His normal sense of clothing tends to be lean on the formal side, as he finds it always better to be possibly over-dressed than under-dressed for any occasion. One is most likely to see him in one of two blue coats: a philosopher's or ala mhigan coat, depending on the situation. His ventures to the East can be seen as an exception as he will often replicate the dress as a way to assimilate and study the native culture better. PERSONALITY A’stre dislikes drawing extra attention to himself, a habit carried over from his more soft-spoken self and tends to avoid gesturing wildly. One can often however pick up on hints on how he is feeling through A’stre’s body language if they pay close enough attention to this tail and ears as he doesn’t have much control of it himself, much to his chagrin. He doesn’t tend to speak more than he has to, choosing to observe and gather as much information as he’ll speak or end up being prompted to. However, when he does his tone is gentle except in rare occasions where they may be in danger or someone may be hurt. His voice doesn’t display much emotion when speaking to most, though close friends who have spent time with him may begin to pick up on minor cues others may miss. His true personality though, shines around children. His eyes glow with a certain warmth when interacting with them, freely joking and fascinating them with tales he had come across the lands. To him, children are free from the biases of the real world, letting him relax without fear of being judged as was common in his past. He was adopted into his mother’s tribe and though he did display mainly keeper characteristics, he knew some looked down upon he and his mother for his mixed blood. As a result he grew up soft-spoken, wary of trusting people too quickly lest they show their true intentions. In spite of this he still yearned for close companionship inspired by stories his father would tell him growing up. Thanks to a close friend over the years he's grown to become more open again, learning to trust people on his own. [I have to update quite a bit, but it's 4am atm. I’m very willing to learn though. Personal RP Limits As a rp sapling, I haven't run into much I would need to put here. If something makes me uncomfortable to RP I will tell you OOC, and hopefully we can continue it someway else. If not, I may have to respectfully decline to interact with your character. ■ Most familiar with walk up, open world interactions, heavy background setting, basically slice-of-life. (Not that I'm opposed to anything different, this is just what I've had the most experience with in the past.) ■ Hard limits I will not engage in any rp that involves rape, torture, dismemberment, etc. I am not comfortable writing anything that involves these, nor do I think A'stre would involve himself in these kinds of situations.
