Born to a male seeker and a female keeper, he never felt as he truly belonged. He was adopted into his mother’s tribe and though he did display mainly keeper characteristics, he knew some looked down upon he and his mother for his mixed blood. As a result he grew up soft-spoken, wary of trusting people too quickly lest they show their true intentions. In spite of this he still yearns for close companionship inspired by stories his father would tell him when he was younger.
He currently serves as a Seeker of Sights for the Collector's Organization of Magitechnical and Esoteric Treasures, also known as COMET. His job consists of exploring unknown areas to map along with collecting and archiving sights that catch his eyes along his travels. He lives comfortably with the money earned from doing so, along with providing his literary services to those who request it.
Random Facts
■ Though not needed for normal day-to-day tasks, he will occasionally down a round pair of glasses when hours deep into his studies, finding it a good aid to keep him focused without straining his eyes.
■ He has poorer health than most, but not too bad. The frequency in which he moves around never lets him get used to a specific environment for too long, leading to a couple bouts of illness here and there but easily remedied via an elixir.
■ Out of his all his aetherial "pets", he's particularly fond of his blue carby as his first summon and first real step into the new path he set upon.
Appearance
As one more comfortable in the night, his skin remains on the paler side of the spectrum, especially noticeable when compared to his seeker counterparts. The rest of his body is lean, but never too weak. He always keep him in shape, allowing him to scale to areas normally inaccessible to unknowing passersbys to survey the lands or to defend himself when absolutely necessary. His medium length hair naturally tends to cover his right eye, leading A’stre to brush it to the side on habit though it always seems to return. As a result of his increasing aetheric attunement during his studies, strands of silver can be seen within his natural charcoal hair color though he tries to hide them as best he can, even going so far as to dye them with only temporary luck.
He is also fond of grooming himself, never going too long without a proper bath and often visiting public bathhouses or spas if too far from the privacy of his own. Wanting to represent his company as best as he can, the miqo’te always tries to more than presentable - the number of people who have seen him otherwise could be counted on one hand.
PERSONALITY
A’stre’s personality can be most simply described as reserved. He always speaks with a gentle tone, and avoids gesturing wildly, disliking drawing extra attention to himself. He doesn’t speak with too much emotion, though a different story is shown through his writings in his journals, often speaking with fondness or awe at particular sights.
His true personality though, shines around children. His eyes glow with a certain warmth when interacting with them, freely joking and fascinating them with tales he had come across the lands. To him, children are free from the biases of the real world, letting him relax without fear of being judged as was common in his past.

His normal sense of clothing tends to be slightly farther on the formal side, as he finds it always better to be possibly over-dressed than under-dressed for any occasion. However, if he knows he will be spending an extended period of time in an area, he will often try to replicate the dress as a way to assimilate and study the culture better. Most commonly however, one is most likely to see him in his favorite navy blue philosopher's coat, sleek enough to wear for any occasion without being gaudy.

I have a very clear distinction when it comes to OOC/IC. They must remain separate at all times if we are to RP together, especially on an extended basis and I reserve the right to end interactions should this be impeded upon. I've been burnt heavily by people mistaking IC care and OOC friendship and attention with romantic regard and honestly I don't wish to go through another such debacle once more. If my character dislikes yours that does not mean I hold the same sentiment. If my character loves yours that does not translate to me feeling the same for you, though I might feel a platonic equivalent. I am not my characters and they are not me. Respect this and we shall get along famously.
Personal RP Limits
I don't have very many hardcore limits honestly as I feel consequences must be adhered to when RPing any character regardless of whom they might be. However there are a few exceptions to this and they are as follows.
■ I will play Almost anything that isn't described below.
■ I won't play Death, Rape, Maiming, ERP only Plots. I don't mind romance but it needs to be earned and respected. Do not try and force your character on to mine. If I feel this is the case I will quickly end the RP and speak with you OOCly to either correct the issue or end the RP connection between the two in a faithful manner both parties can agree upon.

Little Tidbits.
■ If you're ever uncomfortable, tell me! I don't bite! I can get pretty into RPing out consequences however and while I do my best to make sure permission is had and everyone is comfortable I'm not perfect. If you have a problem speak up.
■ This is a broad statement for all my characters, but I have a hard limit of at least two months before I'll allow my character to enter a relationship. A good friend mentioned their own rule regarding this and I greatly respected the idea of it, so I'll be putting it into practice myself. I've been burned far too many times by hasty RP relationships and want to make it clear from the get go so there is no misunderstanding. If your character is trying to romance my own, be prepared for it to take awhile.
