Although the two have never met, Alakhai's mother had spoken nothing but fond memories of him and of the loving relationship they had together. Yet Alakhai need not meet him to observe the sparkle that lit up her mother's eyes when he was brought up in conversation; and so she held a high respect for the father of whom she'd never truly known. Hoelun Borlaaq ( ♥ ✖ ) ( NPC ) Alakhai's biological mother, and the ward that raised her. Though recently passed, she was a fierce warrior and dedicated mother in life. She crept away from life contented in her daughter's embrace, a grace of which she believed herself undeserving. Oghul was a woman of jealous and contemptuous nature, made all the more evident in her later years. She quietly scorned Alakhai, seeing the child as a stolen love's manifestation- little more than a reminder of what she herself would never have. She often treated Alakhai harshly, dealing her physical and verbal abuse without remorse.
