Long flowing white hair can be seen when his armet is not worn, either hanging freely or tied up for practicality. A lone scar is present on his otherwise smooth face; a reminder of past relationships and fiery endings rather then war. It is not unusual for certain exposed sections of his body to be remarkably more tanned then the rest; the exposure to the sun reflecting snow of Corethas and dragonfire being the culprit. Two cerimonial clasps can be found adorning each of his ears - bearing the sigils of both his house and House Durendaire, further inspection would reveal no less than a master smith being responsible for their creation.

==Behaviour==

Devoutly Ishgardian, especially in the presence of his kin Alueaux can pose either an exceptionally hostile reception or a slightly more forgiving one. He maintains a strict air of Ishgardian pride and will quickly make a stand should someone question Halone or Ishgard in his presence but to the unbeliever or outsider who is capable of avoiding such subjects can be surprisingly receptive.

While first and foremost a dragoon he can be often seen displaying more inquisitive behaviour; keen to question those outside of Ishgard and delve into books and other material where it arises but avoiding any conflict with his duty. Oft seen as a pragmatist, while strict in his faith he resents the behaviour of some of his kin to be too prone and fanatical with their actions - disregarding logic.

Despite all this in the right company with the right people Alueaux can be incredibly social; happily accepting friendly jests and deep conversation alike. He often tends to prefer smaller more personal groups then a large party; avoiding large taverns if possible but if not normally tucking himself away to avoid undue attention.

==Known Haunts==

Alueaux can be seen frequenting almost all regions of Corethas; with his primary duties focusing around the defense of Camp Dragonhead and the Observatorium those who seek him out would be best to start there. Occasionally he may be seen in different locations; oft on the regular long range patrols dragoons are tasked to to ensure Dravanian influence does not spread on Ishgard’s watch. The most common regions for this being the Black Shroud or La Noscea; a noted distaste could be discovered for Ul’Dah and its outlying regions should any pry or question him on this.

History

DRGALUTWO.JPG

Born into the lesser nobility of House Dunant Alueaux spent his youth being groomed into the Ishgardian way of life – his father Dereniart Dunant having three children with Ellia Dunant, Alueaux being the eldest of the three; his sibilings currently reside safely within the walls of the city of Ishgard – so far protected from the worst of the Dragonsong war. Even as the calamity struck in reality his day to day living failed to change, the only notable event occuring being the failed defense of the Stone Vigil; an event Alueaux feels some guilt for allowing to happen despite the massive losses incurred on the Vigil's defenders.

With House Dunant being open supporters of House Durendaire within the Ishgardian Political structure for the vast majority Alueaux has served be it passively or actively with the household in its endeavours within the region of Corethas. However House Durendaire’s more recent open posturing to the use of adventurers to supplement its forces has caused some distaste to his families strictly more nationalistic views on how Ishgard should be run.

Passing the trials of the Dragoons aged 21; he severed his former relationship with Virella Douront; a childhood sweetheart and further fortifying his faith within the Orthodox church of the Holy See. Seven years have now passed from that day, while little progress has been made in the war the exposure to the outside world through the visitors to Corethas are beginning to temper his opinions; and with the more recent loss of his fathers brother - has been forced to take a more vested interest in the plight of his Cousins on the far side of the family in order to maintain reputation.
