Always curious and facinated by magicks, Ambroisaux unlocked a strange ability called the Echo in his earlier years. Through it he was able to learn how to sense and see using aether rather than sight.

He was conflicted: why was he given a gift so powerful if his time to study and understand it's potential was cut shorter and shorter? The answers came forward in the form of a mysterious dark robed figure that would lead him to learn the art of hopping body to body when death caught up with his physical form.
