Character

General

A politician without being in politics, Anthony is the scion of the House de Vieri, the Chairman of the Vieri Bank and a strong proponent of Ishgard's new Republican government. His Bank has greatly benefited from the opening of Ishgard's borders and admittance into the Eorzean Alliance. Anthony is charming, young and the face of the new Ishgard - but his aspirations are far beyond his modest birth. Hopefully, the expansion of Ishgard's favorite Bank will help furnish him with the means to acquire his goals.

Combat

General

It wasn't the House he was from, nor the Bank he represented that left an impression when someone walked away from a meeting with him. It was the raw emotion he contained; the charm and force of personality that made up Lord Anthony Vieri. He was the shining future of Ishgard built into humanoid form and given the blessing of life. He embodied the new spirit of the Republic.

Strengths

• Critical Thinking: Anthony considers himself to be quite the adept political mind, making plans for the future and coordinating his business ventures to aid him in his own advancement.
• Wit and Charm: A brilliant political mind is nothing without the charisma, wit and charm to help persuade others to listen to you. Luckily, Anthony has more than enough of these qualities to suffice.
• Interpersonal Skills: He's a well-born, ambitious young man who aims to move up in the world, via marriage and wealth. In order to do so, he has to be social and make friends with everyone. It helps that he enjoys it, and when he's at a gala, or merely out in the streets, it seems that he enjoys himself.

Weaknesses

• Heart of Gold: Anthony is easily taken advantage of for his willingness to go the extra mile to help people. He puts people and their needs ahead of profits and his own desires, much of the time. (Or so it seems.)
• Cold Steel: Anthony is trained with the sword and rapier, and he fights decently well with them - but he doesn't relish the din of battle. He's especially vulnerable to those who are willing to engage in combat without a second thought.

• Momodesu Nenedesu: Vice-Chairman of the Vieri Bank, a skilled Thaumaturge and Lalafell with an acute mind for business.
• Captain Eligh Halandren: Mercenary and retainer of House de Vieri. He and his men are long-time hires of the Lord Vieri. He trusts Eligh to handle his tasks without too many awkward questions being asked.

Enemies

House Haurtelle

• Lothemont Haurtelle is suspected of killing, or orchestrating the killings, of several Vieri retainers and family members over the past twenty years. There is no clear evidence, but there is an ever on-going investigation being carried out quietly by the House de Vieri.
