Childhood
- ₪ Born in Gyr Abania, more specifically to the J tribe. His father became Nunh at a young age due to both smarts and skill. He mostly only loved the title and power as Nunh, rather than anyone personally. Yuzeh was his first child, though it was mostly his mother that took care of him since his father didn't care about children. Yuzeh considers her to be the only person that's ever really loved him, past and present. Many in the tribe disliked him simply because of his father. Coupled with the lack of a real father figure, Yuzeh grew to somewhat resent his father and started acting more independently and cause trouble.
- ₪ At about the age of 5, he decides to go out alone and prove he can do the same thing as the adults by trying to hunt something. His mother asks his father to help search for Yuzeh when she finds Yuzeh missing, but his father is busy with another woman and says she can handle it. Eventually his mother finds him and saves from a large blue griffin, Vochstein, but dies as a consequence. Yuzeh is young and cared deeply for his mother, and is unable to deal with the fact that he was responsible for his mother's death. Instead, to cope, he blames his father for not doing enough to protect her, for not caring about her, his behavior, and such. Upset and angry, Yuzeh runs away and starts living alone. Hating his father, Nunhs, and not wanting to be around him or his tribe.
Teenage
- ₪ Living alone was hard though, and he quickly learned he'd have to resort to stealing and do other bad things in order to survive. Betrayed many times and struggling to survive made him very independent but also very distrustful of others. At about the age of 15, something happens that causes him to join the Garleans, which he's able to do despite being young. He'd grown to hate Gyr Abania, Ala Mhigo, and its people from his experiences. Ever since that griffin killed his mom, as griffins symbolized Ala Mhigo to him. So getting the chance to get revenge on them was a plus, but life was very different and not what he expected. He'd already been doing bad things so things like killing wasn't too new to him, though doing so much more of it desensitized him to it. Taking orders was new, but he didn't have a choice in the matter. He had to either follow without question, or would be killed without mercy.
- ₪ Much of his time as a Garlean was spent in Doma, though he occasionally sailed/visited La Noscea and other parts of Eorzea. While here he learns how to speak Doman among other things. During this time is also when he tries drinking for the first time, and never does so again due to an incident that ended with him killing an ally. He doesn't drink any more, since he doesn't want a repeat as it apparently makes him overly aggressive and violent.
- ₪ At about the age of 21 he's captured by Limsan pirates and sold as a slave to a crew of female pirates, though he's technically owned by the captain. A sadistic, female Roegadyn that hates Garleans. During his time here he's tortured and loses his innocence, causing him to fear women and especially being touched by one. Moons later he's saved by Jacke and the Rogue's guild. He joins the Rogue's guild soon after, and is taught how to use daggers better (weapons he's used since he had to start living on his own and with the Garleans) and other Rogue techniques. He hides his past, especially having been a Garlean, with a mask and new name he chose for himself, Aoi Kurashiki.
Present
- ₪ After about a cycle with the Rogue's guild he decides he wants to wander and explore. His first destination was Ul'dah, a place with many wealthy merchants and other people to steal from. Not long after he tries and fails to steal from Hizu, a grumpy miqo'te who was brooding in the Lane. Hizu was very angry when this happened, especially that Aoi had tried to steal his wedding ring as well. Luckily, Aoi survives the encounter, meets his wife Eiai, and gets an invitation from Hizu to join the Collective. Aoi doesn't really care about some "greater purpose" or following orders, but decides to take him up on the offer for the possible entertainment and free stuff. Since then, Aoi has continued to cause trouble for the Collective.
