Charging Thunder traveled south at a younger age than is common for her people, due to some personal tragedy she is generally unwilling to speak about.
She traveled hard, running from something, and walked until she hit the Sagolii. Lost, alone, and directionless now that she could travel no more south of where she had come, Thunder wandered aimlessly until she happened upon a skirmish between an Eternal Flames company and an Amalj'aa warband. Pent up and frustrated, she lent her axe to the fight, and when the beastmen fled, she introduced herself to the remaining soldiers. Thunder joined the Flames and served for many years, reaching the rank of Flame Sergeant First Class.
Charging Thunder was on the field of Carteneau when the moon fell and the Calamity struck. She and her unit were able to retreat far enough back so as not to be killed by it, but she was changed by the experience. She resigned from and was granted a discharge from the Flames, intending to take up a peaceful civilian trade like fishing to put food on the table. ((WIP))
