WARNING. HIDEOUSLY UNDER-CONSTRUCTION AND RIFE WITH SPOILERS AND RAW INFORMATION. AND BAD WRITING.

Elyscia Rose is a country bumpkin, and a very inept and inexperienced whelp. Raised by a Hyur family in a little, close-minded, Hyur-only community.

When she finally left her village the people she met along her journeys, in the small towns and big cities, were perplexed to find just how naive and ignorant she was to everything outside of the safe little countryside community she refused to call 'home'.

Character and Outward Appearances

This category is spoiler-free and details everything you'd first notice about Elyscia Rose upon meeting her. This is from her physique, to quirks, mannerisms, and the way she speaks.

(Art By Jessica)
Voice: Her accent makes her voice inadvertently whimsical as her country dialect is very tonal. It's hard to pinpoint exactly how she chooses which words to say higher or lower, but the pattern seems to be; low/normal tone, then every third word said in a higher-tone - of course it varies depending on what's being said. Her colourful vocalbulary is full of profanities that would impress a pirate, and though rather tomboyish sounding at times, her voice is somewhat dulcet.
Demeanour: Towards new people, Elyscia will be sceptical and cautious which may be misinterpreted as being shy, and she will perhaps be even rude and blunt to others but that is more due to the fact she has not learned city etiquette and manners. There are certain races she will be considerably wary of, but she tries her best not to show it and even going as far as to giving them a chance - depending on her mood.
Quirks: Elyscia constantly has her tail coiled around her somewhere; either draping around her waist or hips, thigh, 'glued' to the back of her leg, or she would even hold it in her hand never allowing it 'loose' or swaying around freely.

Relationships

K'laka Tia - Elyscia's 'babysitter' as she jokes. He has taken it upon himself to teach Elyscia everything she needs to know to survive in the despicable dog-eat-dog world which is Ul'dahn life.

Sarah Sparrow - Estranged for most of their life, Elyscia recently reunited with her older sister. Despite them being different races entirely, they will often argue with others that they look alike by usually pointing out their red hair.

History

SO MANY SPOILERS. Please read at your own discretion if you have the ability to trust in yourself not to meta-game during RP.

A cry which sounded of a babe mewling in the woods were found by a Hyur-couple, curiously the child had feline-ears and a tail and they could only roughly assume what she could be. They have heard of these beings before: the elusive 'Miqo'te', but they had never seen one before. All they knew was that they couldn't just leave an infant alone by herself in the wilds.

The surrogate parents both tried to raise her lovingly - with the help of her numerous surrogate brothers and sister, however, as time moved on, it was apparant that anything other than Hyur were doomed to a miserable life in this village. The other farm folk didn't like Elyscia: they called her a freak. The 'father' eventually gave-up trying to raise her and would refuse to acknowledge her, treating her as though she were a real animal - not even a beloved pet worthy of respect. Her siblings, the cruellest of all as children often were, would join in the bullying and berate her along side the rest of the youths. And, the 'mother' tried very hard to do all she could before encouraging her to leave for Ul'Dah, for a better life - but angry, young, Elyscia took it as being unwanted. Nobody wanted her. She wasn't sure what love was, and everything frustrated her.

[In-depth stories, still compiling-very, very, very raw] Elyscia had a crush on Seamus O'Halloran, despite the fact all youths hated her and would constantly insult her - she couldn't help but fancy his charming good looks, he was after all, the best looking lad there.--------Seamus would talk to her suddenly, surprised her, asked to meet her by the forest, nothing was there for her but a bucket of mud that fell on her head. Whilst sadly walking back, Seamus and a few others jeered at her and they made it vocal how they were curious what a 'Miqo'te' looked like underneath the clothes - whether or not they even had to wear clothe as they're animals, and they proceeded to assault her. Fortunately for Elyscia (and unfortunately for them) they weren't aware of how much stronger a Miqo'te was compared to a Hyur, and Elyscia fended for herself - accidentally blinding Saemus in the process.

As hard as her life was growing up though, Elyscia strove to make a change for herself; she wanted to try and make friends even though it was so hard. She somehow managed to fake her confidence under a guise of stubborness, defiance: she did not care if she came across as stupid for all she wanted to do was to learn.
