P E R S O N A L I T Y

Erik is self-serving and more than a little manipulative. But that is not to say he doesn't have empathy for those around him. The more the hearer seems to interact with people, the more he finds himself altering his course in favor of them. That being said, he still has a long way to go before his behavior can be considered praiseworthy. Erik will flirt with anyone, and certainly antagonize those he dislikes. Beauty truly is only skin deep.

A P P E A R A N C E

Often draped in finely-tailored robes or adorned in rich silks, Erik often looks as though he stepped off the stage of a fashion show rather than out of the shaded boughs of the Shroud. His hair is ocean blue and teal, and his eyes violet. There is a sigil on his left cheek though he cannot seem to see it in the mirror. Both the sigil and his eyes glow white when incensed. Those who choose to purchase a night in Erik's arms will remark that his body is well-muscled and without marks or scars.

L I K E S ■ Food. Fish, alcohols and cheeses. ■ Music. Bawdy tavern songs, old folk songs and even wordless hymns. ■ Vices. No stranger to hedonism; Erik enjoys somnus, smokeweed, pleasures of all natures as well as heady incenses, dried meats and fish (usually whilst under the influence of some form of contraband or another).

D I S L I K E S ■ Rudeness. A man of old-world courtesies, those he deems rude are often chided for their base attitudes. ■ Helplessness. A feeling that has chased the keeper throughout his mortality. ■ The word "whore". Should someone deign to call him such, Erik is prone to reacting irrationally.

P C Akihiko Misaki ( ♠ ) - Foreigner The pair have had a rocky history, beginning with Akihiko calling Illiad a whore, and spiralling when Erik attempted to drug and sell the Doman male at a slave markets. Therron Basque ( ♥ ● ) - Petal Erik once professed he could cure Therron's bloodcurse using magicks he knew were wielded by voidsent. The spell backfired and instead wiped the dragoon's memory. The keeper gave up and instead abandoned the memory-less elezen in the Goblet without aiding him further. Zarconen Maquesh ( ● ) - Dove Illiad has often fought alongside the one-armed keeper, though his persistent rudeness has no doubt inspired many a fantasy in Zarc's mind of driving his pike into the richly-clad male's nethers. Savant Amayelli ( ♥ ♥ ✔ ) - Ser, or Prince Savant offered Erik a place to stay and a job as entertainer at the Oasis in the Sands. It wasn't until the seeker called him family, though, that the hearer truly began to warm to him. C'auro Tia ( ♥ ) - Slave Boy Despite his name for the pale youth, Erik has a protective streak where he is concerned. More than once the keeper has voiced his suspicions that Vora is using the Youth badly.

P C Ilmio Voracita ( ♠ ) - Pouty Erik would never use the name while Vora is in the room, but the seeker's frequent rude, racially-based comments raise the hearer's hackles. On more than one occasion he has voiced the desire to strike Vora. Athrun Coeur ( ♦ ♥ ♥ ) - Athrun/Ath Athrun is one of the few folks Illiad will actually call by name. He grew feelings for the keeper when Erik was trapped inside the body of Athrun's lover, and was shown kindness while they attempted to find him a new host body. Saren Auronus ( ♥ ♥ ) - My love, Kitten Saren is the first "good man" Erik met after his attentions were rebuffed by Athrun. Despite his continued feelings for the keeper, and his work as a courtesan, the pair maintain a trusting relationship. Winter Harrison ( ● ♥ ) - My Sweet Winter dislikes voidsent and the void, and once attempted to kill the hearer believing he was one. Now the pair have a cordial acquaintanceship where both utilise the other's technical and magickal skills. Tsuki Crimson ( ● ) - Dear Chef Tsuki and Erik have met only a handful of times. As yet his feelings on the keeper are undecided.
