Complexion: Face paint around eyes that is black in color.

Hair:. Long red hair with black streaks in it.

Eyes: Yellow in color with black limbral rings.

Particular Traits: Small pieces of bone sticking out the back of his head.

Voice: Deep and very monotone in sound.

Clothing Style: Loose shirts and pants are typically worn in towns.

Hobbies

Practicing the lance and 2 handed sword styles.

Likes

Walks in the moon light, having a decent conversation, and people watching.

Dislikes

Disloyal people, those who put blame on others, prostitutes, manwhores, general drama.

Garyen has a small problem being around Miqo'te women. Since his former lover was Miqo'te he has been attracted to them but lately he's found the company of a Doman woman to be to his liking.

Falling in love to easily. His only other flaw is his denial of loosing his ability to cast magiks.

Being alone is the only real fear Garyen has ever had.

Garyen is a decent fisherman and he can also tailor to some extent.

Intelligence

Garyen is intelligent as far as books and tomes go. He's spent plenty of time in the world to understand how things work but he still tends to play ignorant with things he doesn't care for.

Relatives

Most of Garyen's family died in the Calamity. He does how ever know there is some of his kin left alive in the Coerthas area. Either way he doesn't care for them.

Positive

Lhea Korolon has become a very close friend to Garyen. For now they have gone their separate ways. She'll always be a close friend to him and he'll come to her aid when ever she calls.

Emmette Stringers is also one Garyen considers a friend. They don't speak as often as they once did but he always can find time to chat with her. Emmette is a curious woman to Garyen. He never knows which angle she is trying to work but he finds her very interesting.

Hotaru Gin - became a friend when she decided to stare at Garyen's coat one day. Garyen finds her interesting to talk to because of her child like nature inside the Quicksand. The two have become very close as of late. Garyen is now in her employment as bodyguard. Behind the scenes is another story entirely. For them to be just friends and spend as much time together as they do leaves many people talking and spreading rumors. Twelve forbid is something were to happen to this girl under his care..

-He started off looking like any other Elezen but after he was forced into the study of Aetheryte before the calamity his body started to change. No longer would his muscles grow past that of an average male. His hair slowly grew longer over the passing years. After experimenting with aether he would develop scars. His left eye would become a yellowish color. The scars on his face would soon change to the same yellowish color as his eye. He is typically found wearing his favorite red and black attire though recently he has taken to wearing metallic gloves and boots.

-Garyen grew up in the Coerthas Highlands with the rest of the Ishgardian Elezen. His ability to manipulate aether came at a very early age which forced his family to give him over to the local magic academy. Garyen was only 14 years of age when the Calamity happened. Though he was still young Garyen could feel the power of the elder primal Bahamut as he broke free of his imprisonment causing Garyen to seek out refuge so he could survive what he knew was coming. Almost twenty years had passed before Garyen would embark on his journey into the world.
-He first would stop at Limsa Lominsa to meet with the local Arcanists. He would spend a full year learning the various ways they would use to summon creatures to do their bidding. Next Garyen traveled to the newly rebuilt Gridania. It was hear Garyen fell in love for the first time in his life with a young miqo'te girl. He never left her side as they ventured through the woods. It wasn't until a "Nunh" from his lovers former tribe came calling that Garyen would finally learn what it was like to feel hatred and anger towards another race. He didn't understand the bound people would have in a tribe and he probably never will. His sense of loyalty to a single individual was far more important to him than the loyalty of a single person to a large group of people. His lover was basically given a choice. Either come back and take her rightful place in the tribe or fight the Nunh with the possibility of death so that she might go free. His lover being ever so stubborn decided to fight the male.
