Appearance & Personality

Glow is athletic, acrobatic, and built for running, and with her blue skin and dark purple hair she's also built for stealth at night. This combination has helped her escape many, many people, be they guards, criminals, or some combination of the two. Every inch of her is smoothly toned muscle, her legs in particular.

Biography

Childhood

As a child, Glow was raised by Lalafell. To this day she doesn't know who here real parents are, but she's never let that get her down. Her Lalafell parents are all she ever needed, and she's forever grateful for them taking her in off their doorstep despite having no obligation to do so. As a child she was no less rambunctious than she is today, and her constant risk-taking and reckless behavior resulted in more than one broken bone. Her mother's aptitude for White Magic kept her going though, and over time Glow learned how to run, flip, jump, and more. Her natural aptitude for athletics and running around Ul'dah also led her to emulating all the various street performers, and eventually pick pockets as well. The experience was formative, and Glow became determined not to let anything hold her back. If she was capable of learning something she would jump into it full force and learn as much as she could.

Teenage

Her teenage years were something else entirely. As her criminal talents grew she got in more and more trouble her parents became concerned. It also didn't help that she was starting to finally outgrow the house she grew up in, given it was built for Lalafell. They were concerned, and talked in secret about maybe suggesting that Glow go out into the world and explore it. They were just worried about what might happen to a young girl travelling alone, when to their surprise Glow announced that she intended to do just what they were talking about. Her parents were worried at first that she'd overheard them and was doing it out of spite, but further probing made it apparent it was a decision Glow had come to on her own.

What followed was a trek across all of Eorzea where Glow never stayed in one place for long. In one town her talents would get her in trouble with the guards, in other towns her morals would get her in trouble with the criminals. The entire time she was always learning, reading when travelling by airship or when it was more prudent to hide than run. Glow was not content just to expand her physical repertoire- she wanted to know what words meant, what people believed in, everything.

It was also while travelling Eorzea that she was thrown in jail for the first time and found the experience traumatic to say the least. Once free she began taking preventative measures in every town she visited, always marking guards and stealing sets of keys- always at least two. One to have on her, and the other to plant in the jail in a hidden spot. She has let herself be captured on more than one occasion later so that she could plant keys, or simply because it was the easier option when she eventually tired out.
