"Give me a forgotten book than none ever opened before and take my heart with you"

Character

Appearance and Personality

I'na is a thin and elegant female Miqo'te with silvery blue eyes, raven black hair and a long tail, her motions are always smooth and gentle and she usually walks slightly towards her toes, giving her some subtle but not stealthy approach. She is wearing reading glasses and never gets separated from her favoured book, attached to her side with a chain. It should be noted that the book is changing every now and then as I'na is overzealous with keeping notes, filling the pages and placing the complete book to her archive as she replace it with a new blank one. her belt features several pouches containing different ink vials that she is using to decorate her books with drawings, sketches, maps and notes. She is always carrying with her more than 3 feather pens and at least one ribbon (usually red) that she is using to keep track of her current page. Inside her book she has attached spells in case of need, most commonly "Cure" and "Ruin".

Being a true Limsan, I'na is dressed in comfortable yet elegant clothes, including knee high buccaneer boots, blouses and leather belts, hopefully soon fitting gloves as well as she have lately misplaced them somewhere in her wardrobe. She is also very fond of jewels, especially earrings and misses no chance to expand her beloved jewel box.

Finally about her Personality, I'na is most of the time reading books, writing books, searching books, or at any rate keeping some kind of note. That sometimes gives the impression that she is overly unapproachable, something that is not quite true, she is actually friendly and willing to socialise given a chance, though she is not the usual Limsan salty maiden. Her fascination with books and rear texts lead her to a series of journeys and she can hardly resist taking hold of a new document, she treasures every kind of book or scroll, from cooking recipes to the greatest marvels of poetry. She is not very fond of combat and prefers to record what is going on her adventures, offering healing or ranged casting support instead of fighting in the frontline, usually hiding behind some bulky ally...or two?

Background

Daughter of an author, I'na grew up with her mother, her house in Limsa Lominsa resembled more a Library than a residence. Her mother was immobile and I'na spend most of her youth taking care of her, she never spoke of I'na's Father and the young Miqo'te was used to the idea that she will never meet him.

Her passion of collecting books started from her mother as well, she used to gather the stories her mother threw away or published, reading again and again through the enormous Libraries of her house and spending all her currency on buying new texts. In her mind it was an adventure, find and gather rear texts, poems, stories and scrolls. She even delved into the art of white magic in a desperate attempt to heal her declining mother. Unfortunately she failed...

As her mother passed away, I'na was left alone with the Library house in Limsa Lominsa. Her sorrow was only countered by her love of reading, spending endless nights over books, she finally discovered a strange lever hidden behind some old Libraries. With great surprise she found a chest locked behind the bookshelves. Inside she discovered the truth about her father, he was a pirate that once set sail for adventure and never returned...

Determined to find out more she followed his footsteps, joining a crew and searching for his traces, recovering many exotic and rear tomes in the process. Two years later she discovered that he died during the calamity. Claiming her place as his daughter she joined the Maelstrom and the service to the Admiral of the naval state.
