Bio
- Within the Eryut tribe of the Golmore Jungle, Ysera was well trained in the art of conjury, healing the sick and tending to the woods. Due to the increasing danger of Garlean occupation however, Ysera fled from her tribe in the Golmore Jungle—never to return again. She took the name of Iliara and adapted to city life as a wandering dancer. In this process however, her prior connection to conjury and nature began to wane.
- Continuing to wander, Iliara charmed her way onto a ship heading to Eorzea. Everything went smoothly until her ship was attacked by Siren in the dead of night, leading her and the crew to be shipwrecked and surrounded by the creature’s thralls underneath a bright moonlight. In that moment of peril, she realized that the ocean and the moon were just as much a part of nature as her old forest, reawakening her almost forgotten conjury. With her healing and water spells, she was able to protect and tend to the shipwrecked crew until rescue arrived. She’s called herself Brightmoon ever since.
