Inessa was conceived on the far western continent but was born in the Thanalan after her mother immigrated and settled in Ul'dah.

Inessa spent most of her childhood and young adulthood as a citizen of the city. Her and her mother never really worried about money as Inessa's mother was a mercenary of sort's. The job's that her mother took were often high risk but they payed well enough to feed and cloth two mouths. After Inessa reached the young age of 15, she was taken in by the Kwon Ateria style's current grandmaster, Phalanx as he is called, and was taught and trained in the combat style that she uses even to this day.

However, at the young age of fifteen, the lesser moon Dalmund fell and Bahamut awoke, laying complete and total destruction upon everything in Eorzea. Inessa and her mother were well out of the city when the fire came falling down but they were soon called in to help deal with the riot's that ensued not long after. Inessa's mother was injured during the riot though and since then, hasn't put on her armor or picked up her weapons.

Inessa began her work as a detective at seventeen years of age. Mostly working on small time thievery and robberies. However, as the years progressed, she was trusted with bigger cases, such as murders and whatnot. As she grew older, she found the the upper echelons of the Ul'dahn society wanted her to help with their more sensitive matter's more often than not.

After her eighteenth birthday, Inessa learned all she could from her master (or so she was told anyways) and she was told to go build upon the skills he had given her. Her name as an investigator publicly really picked up around this time though. Often, she would be associated as one of the Elite's lapdogs but this got her alot of work from them since she was recommended by other rich and influential clients she has worked for in the past.

The leather of her chest armor (and gear in general) appears worn. An older version of the current issue Flame Elite gear. However, from the many battles it has been in as well as its relative age, any symbolism of Ul'dah that was etched into the armor is either non-existent or worn down to where it's not that noticeable.

She likes to wield a longsword and has it often sashed or hanging off her back rather than her side.

More often than not though, she carry's a satchel filled with miscellaneous stuff, from a flask with drinking water to keep her hydrated in the hot Thanalan climate, to reading material's and writing utensil's.

♦ Behaviour

Doesn't get along or work well with others. Tend's to work solo on a lot of her assignments. Often has a rude and aggressive attitude when it comes to nosy people but otherwise, is a very nice person to be around with. Often prefers non-violence over violent encounters. Often only wants to talk about the present or work and often changes the subject when people try to ask her about her past. (she is obviously hiding something but will not tell anyone about it willingly.)

Combat

Has much expirience with the Sword and hand to hand combat. She is mostly self taught though much of the foundation of her training was taught by the master of Kwon Ateria style, a underground martial art's style that is not really know to the general public.

Being who she is, she avoids having to fight like its the plague, but many will usually say that she has the scent of blood on her.

Friends ● The Courier (AKA: John): A simple courier who learned how to fight from Inessa. Despite them being relatively close to the same age, its more of a mother-son relationship than anything. Inessa taught him how to survive and in exchange, he helps her out every now and then with her job. Makes a simple living as a competitive fighter and courier. ● Nastasha Hara (Inessa's mother): A mother that Inessa holds dear. She was sick but as of late has made a good recovery from her disease that Inessa funded a cure for. ● Phalanx: A Duskwight Elezen who mysteriously appeared and founded the Kwon Ateri Style of combat. He taught Inessa how to fight and has Inessa listed as his current heir to the style. As far as Inessa knows that is. She has not spoken to him in five years.
