Jin'sae "Jin" Molkot, (9th Sun of the 4th Astral Moon, 1556) is a Black Shroud born Miqo'te Keeper of the Moon who has spent a large portion of his life with family abroad after the Calamity in a small village inside the province of Doma. Forced to leave the home they made upon the arrival of the Garlean conquest he has thus made his way back to Eorzea by boat with what family he has left.

Appearance & Personality

Standing slightly tall for a Miqo'te wither broader shoulders, but like the most of his family Jin'sae is a pale-skinned, green-eyed Keeper of the Moon with snow white (Currently dyed red) hair, he prefers to keep it unkempt and slightly on the longer side. Being accustomed to always having traveled and living for so long in Doma, his taste in clothing taken to comfort over defense, slowly though he's finding himself getting more and more used to dressing the way people of Eorzea do.

Easily distracted by the smallest of things and easily bored he'll find himself daydreaming or just spacing out looking at the world, whether his sight's fixated on an everyday scene you take for granted or something as trivial as the sky. Due to his lifestyle it can be a tedious task pinpointing an exact location on where he is, always on the move trying to see what he can learn or prosper. When Jin'sae talks with someone he'll take a little bit of humor over formality, often he'll end up teasing those he speaks with as a means of affection or even trust. When it comes to women however, even though it's not his intent he'll often come off as a horrible flirt.

Although Jin'sae is plenty intelligent, he will often find himself getting involved with questionable individuals strictly out of seeking knowledge, having a specific goal in mind or just looking for something to keep him occupied. Needless to say, his little sister gives him an earful for it.

History

Pre-calamity

Post-calamity 1572-1578

Jin Molkot, feeling that Eorzea had become an unsuitable place for her family in the aftermath of the Calamity, fled Eorzea with Jin'sae, Lydiah, and several brothers and sisters. It was nearly two years of continuous travel before the family ended up in Doma. Although it wasn't their intent at first to make a new home there, they found themselves lingering longer than expected. In time Jin'a and Jin'sae began training as Shinobi, first the elder, with the younger following shortly after. Though it is not known exactly how they came into this, and Jin'sae has not shared despite Lydiah asking incessantly.

Lydiah, being closest in age to Jin'sae, wished to follow in his footsteps, but she was deemed an unacceptable student due to her immaturity, though she was eventually able to convince Jin'sae to begin teaching her in secret.

Life was fine in Doma, though as outsiders the family was not well versed on every particular of Doman culture, they still felt that it was becoming their home, that is until the Garleans appeared in their conquest. Jin'a fought bravely, allowing Jin'sae and Lydiah to flee with the Domans to Ul'dah. Unfortuantely the family was split in the chaos, and Jin'a was not able to escape with his life. Seeking refuge in Ul'dah, Jin'sae and Lydiah determined it better to split ways with the fellow refugees and seek what family they could in the familiar Black Shroud.

Miscellaneous

Ninjutsu: While living in Doma, Jin'sae took up training as a shinobi with his eldest brother. A huge part of the the way of the shinobi is the art of ninjutsu. Being able to manipulate the vital energies of the land, the air, as well as living beings, you can manifest your power through the weaving of hand signs called Mudra. Taking the title Jonin as he's learned just about all he could in his time there, but will still do whatever he can to learn more.

Chocobo breeding: Being a Molkot, the family of his were known to be excellent chocobo breeders and raisers. He's taken care of many of the birds back before the calamity and wishes he could start doing it once more. Mostly extensive in his knowledge for chocobo feed, ranging from gysahl greens and curiel roots to Doman plums.

Not just because she won't stop asking 'til she gets what she wants, but because she's the one who's been there with him for just about everything in his life and he loves her to death. ♥ Terilia Moui : A girl that was up until recently his mate and someone he actually found himself open up to. A very shy and unique girl who made him draw something in a book just to remember who he was. He knows she had something horrible happen to her in the past and he'll do what he must to keep her from harms way. ● Kiht Jakkya : Though him and this Keeper of the Moon haven't held that many conversations in their time. He's come to respect the woman for what she does and has done for him. Taking him in, treating him like family and allowing him into her clan. It's hard to come by people like that and he's found a respect for her that he doesn't give to many. ● Tiberius Kassynder : An interesting Hyur who Jin'sae has recently been able to call an ally, and friend. Though when it comes to love or women he thinks the man is a dumbass...or just oblivious is all. ● Rinh'li Nelhah : A Keeper male who Jin'sae actually took a dislike in when they first met, though he never told him. The dislike grew even when people of his own family spoke lowly of him. Now though, after talking to him and seeing who he is he knows the boy has his problems but he also knows now that he's kind and would go to lengths to protect him. Pure bromance.
