IMPORTANT BUT MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FOR STORMBLOOD: I am aware of the current lore of Stormblood for the Xaela tribes. This does not affect this character nor his

personality/history that has been written prior to the expansion. I have a hard time believing the small handful of this tribe are the only ones in all of

Othard. Keloch's tribe is a sub-tribe that has branched off from their main sept, regardless of any alliance with the Oronir.

NAME: Keloch Buduga ("Key-Lock")

PHYSIQUE: Streamline, high muscle in arms and thighs.
ORIENTATION: Uncaring.

KEY FEATURES
- Extremely tall, even for his race.
- Scarification drawn on to various parts of his body; namely chest and arms. Palms.
- Quad-horns, the top horns slightly skinnier than the bottom set.
- Sharp, serrated teeth.

PERSONALITY
A demonizing presence, he seems to cast a certain informal 'do not disturb' with the way
he walks, talks, and stands. Reclusive by nature, he spends most of his time watching and observing. There
is a quiet simmering intensity about him, only broken open by the smallest of jabs. His is a volcano waiting to erupt
and smother the world in fire. Many think he is too crude, though these are not people who are familiar with the Buduga way.
He can be merciless and forward, a violent maelstrom of power and temperament; a shark waiting for blood fill his waters. Not
many have been 'fortunate' enough to know the real Xaela beneath the inky black scales.

APPEARANCE
Startling carvings, sigils, and glyphs align the Au Ra's fleshier canvas. It seems to be out of purpose;
scarification a factor in play here. Whether or not they hold the promise of Aether is a mystery to only the Buduga.
The next obvious point of appearance is his grotesque height, peaking at the top of most Au Ra. Sharp yellow radius
of the eyes, pitched in the deep black void beneath - complemented by the crimson hair pulled into a small tail.
Large sharp horns curl forward, arcing ominously with promise of malice with a second set hovering just
above the first. Quad-horns. With a flash of a rare grin can his teeth
be seen, sharpened to fine points - whether or not this is hereditary or filed down for battle has yet to
be seen. His blackened scales and flesh behold sculpted
muscle, articulate in the method of maiming. Clothing is optional, really. Keloch doesn't like too
much on himself, usually sticking to darker colors and thin leathers.

HISTORY
The Buduga tribe is limited to males only. They prove themselves through battle and kidnapping.
These kidnappings are normally other Au Ra from separate tribes, either for fodder, to strengthen their
numbers, or to simply mate with them if that are an unfortunate female.
Impregnated females are sent back to their homes, though they are not
without a visit from the Buduga clan males later to retrieve any
male children that come of age. With the threat of the entire clan coming down on any
opposition, there are only rare cases that the offspring are not found.
Any other species that the clan kidnap are rumored to be sacrificed or eaten;
as some of the Buduga believe in gaining power through devouring aether.
They are said to be able to feel the energy from those with pronounced sources.

But much of this could be considered hearsay. . .

Keloch was taken into the clan by way of battle. He lost to a much larger Xaela whom had
more experience in the field. Originally, the Au Ra was of the Qerel tribe and when coming of age - was
sent out into the field to fetch bones of the steppe tigers, only to come into contact with the Buduga. The will of Karash burns bright within him.
Now, some years later he has grown through the ranks and seeks to expand - or perhaps he's simply curious.
The brute is not without bitterness for his fellow clan.
