Character

Appearance

A male Miqo'te Keeper of the Moon of average height and weight - perhaps a little below average for his kind. He has recently turned somewhat paler, though retains his slightly grey complexion with very few scars to speak of. His height and build are quite normal although he is rarely, if ever, seen without his gloves and coat - thus removing most opportunities to notice this - it would appear that Korin keeps himself in shape.

For the more obvious appearance details, the Miqo'te is sporting what can only be described as a mop of blueish-grey fur atop his head. It is gathered into a small tuft of a 'tail at the back to keep it tame, however it still isn't long enough for this to be effective and more often than not the bangs will cover his face, despite his best efforts to brush them aside. Beneath this his features are undeniably...average, for one of his kind. His tail is noticeably short compared to most - He's below average in most aspects, doesn't hold himself with confidence and often attempts to blend into the crowd.

Behavior

Korin is a somewhat timid individual - More often than not he attempts to keep himself calm and composed. Around large, bustling crowds he is noticeably shakier than usual, however - despite his best efforts to blend in. He is a quiet individual, a man of few words - Evidently a person who would choose his words carefully when given permission to speak. Given the right circumstances, his otherwise level-headed demeanour can quickly dissolve and leave the male quite flustered.

He is quite observant, and often attempts to consider both sides of a conversation. While he will rarely interject, if he notices an uncomfortable subject he attempts to offer an opportunity to change the topic. Despite his best efforts to keep people at arm's length, upon joining The Traveller's Guild he is often seemingly concerned with the wellbeing of others, and often finds himself attempting to think up better ways to help them regardless of his own state.

Combat

General

During combat an individual who is familiar with polearms would notice that Korin's stance and ability is lacking - He isn't a complete novice, but his skills certainly need polishing. While he can hold his own when required, it is noticeable that his form is shaky and he lacks a firm resolve and a clear goal whilst fighting. One might also notice that he takes on a left-handed stance. While he would much prefer to fight from afar using a bow and arrows or perhaps even flinging fireballs at his enemies, it would seem this is a rather sensitive subject for the Miqo'te. That, or he was probably just really, really bad at it.

Despite this, he is rarely seen in combat - or armed, in fact.

Relationships

Family

Korin was the firstborn male to a small Keeper family. His mother - Also known as Korin - was a particularly eccentric woman and chose something of an isolationist lifestyle away from any particular community. His father played a very small role in his upbringing. Aside from his parents, he also had three younger sisters, though he appears somewhat bitter about the subject when it is brought up. Being the only son of the family, his given name would be Korin'a, but he tends to introduce himself as Korin for the sake of convenience, among other things.

Friends

Due to Korin's personality he has very few friends to speak of, however following his introduction into the Traveller's Guild he seems to have opened up a little and occasionally takes it upon himself to try and strike up conversation at the very least.

W'rexen Tia - A seeker miqo'te who met Korin by chance alongside a few others. The circumstances are usually odd, however as he can approach the miqo'te without any issues he seems to consider W'rexen to be a friend regardless.

Otte Dreamwalker - Somehow managed to push Korin into being his assistant. Despite his initial skepticism, he seems to enjoy helping the miqo'te with his observations, whilst contributing some...interesting...sketches to his collection.

Momori Nonori - A lalafell who is persistent enough to try and break down Korin's carefully constructed walls. He manages to be successful, from time to time.

S'meoh Keeneye - Although the seeker is somewhat more exciteable than Korin is used to, he seems more grateful for his company than he lets on.

Octavel Loreaux - As with S'meoh, Korin is much more grateful for the elezen's company than he would admit, having been given the opportunity to open up a little more than he is accustomed to.

Mal Sionis - Another miqo'te who Korin met by chance. He seems to enjoy his company, and surprisingly finds himself with a lot more to speak to him about than expected.

Sarcire Sinclair - Korin isn't really sure what to make of the hyur woman, but he considers her a friend regardless and is grateful for the company she provides. Even if she happens to enjoy teasing him and invading his personal space.
