Basic Info

The most popular terms to describe Honoura are probably things like "big sister" or "responsible" or "helpful." This is what happens when you're the oldest of 3 children, with your (by a summer) baby brother and a little sister 10 summers younger. As a member of the Maelstrom, this earns her things like compliments on her attentiveness to assigned jobs, work ethic, and a lot of babysitting the newer recruits to make sure nobody severely injures themselves. For the most part she has no complaints with this -- after all, go with what you're good at, and grand companies pay pretty well. When asked about what her principle job is within the organization, she's likely to respond by stating it's, "just deliveries" or "babysitting." The simplicity of that statement does not properly elaborate how many times she's had to help clear out bandit hideouts or explore a cave once held by pirates for any recoverable wares that might be of real use. Then again, odds are good those days she'd rather be at home catching up on her novel for book club or napping. In her spare time she likes amusing herself with trips to the pub, stretching her monthly allowance for sweets, or cooing over her company chocobo, Critter. She's also game for social events, but mostly if there's free food involved. More often than not, what she's really doing is looking after some of her more fool-hardy friends to make sure they don't poke something they shouldn't.

Presently, Honoura still works for the Maelstrom, rather content with the military life and spending her free time keeping up with her book club's monthly selections. She has also developed a habit of inviting herself along when someone mentions 'adventuring' or 'expedition' to keep an eye on things. Depending on who suggests the idea, that would be code for 'make sure you don't do anything stupid'. More than once this has earned her nothing but trouble.
