Basic Information
Obsidian Hornet (most people just call her Hornet) is a former highway robber and current (semi)legitimate adventurer. She spent most of the last decade working with various crews of ruffians and brigands accosting travelers and merchant caravans. She is not unintelligent but lacks the refinement of thought that a proper education provides.

Identifying Marks: She wears face paint that matches the color of her hair in a broad stripe that runs from ear to ear across her eyes.
Hornet is a very tall, powerfully built Roegadyn woman. Despite her well-defined musculature Obsidian is very feminine in her appearance and demeanor. Her facial features are almost delicate with almond-shaped eyes and very feminine lips. Her eyes are accentuated by the band of yellow paint she wears in a stripe across her eyes and the dark eyeliner she uses to make the contrast between the yellow of the paint and her eyes sharper. Her hair is kept fairly short, not even shoulder length, and is swept back over her head. If any strand falls over her face she is quick to put it back in place.
Personality/Demeanor
Hornet can be a very personable and pleasant woman to be around provided she hasn't been hired to murder you. She is typically very enthusiastic about pretty much everything and has virtually no filter between her brain and mouth. She tends to treat everyone the same and is rarely intentionally cruel in her speech.
That said, Hornet can be very impatient with people and if things are not going her way she has a tendency to turn on a dime towards being very sharp and intimidating. With her friends though her patience is practically limitless and she is quite warm to and protective of the people she cares about.
Hornet is a bit of an adrenaline junkie and she lives for rush of adventuring. She relishes any opportunity to prove herself in battle and she enjoys meeting a skilled opponent more than just about anything.
She's not a brilliant tactician by any means but she has a very predatory mind in battle and formulates wolf-pack style tactics on the fly.
Combat Skills/Style/History
Hornet's style of fighting could best be described as unrelenting savagery. She considers her body to be as much a weapon as her axe and is just as likely to smash an enemy with her forehead as take a swipe at them with her axe. She is also a very vocal fighter in that she often laughs at weaker opponents mid-fight. Generally, the tougher the fight, the bluer her language gets and when she is truly tested she has been heard to unleash a torrent of profanity that could make a Serpent Reaver blush.
She has no skill with magic to speak of but has skill with many types of weapons. She favors the two-handed axe but also has limited abilities with sword and shield and the cestus.
She has been using the axe since she first decided to take arms. She enjoys the power of the axe and the extensive reach she has with it.
Hornet picked up the sword and shield combo after hearing about the prowess of the Gladiators of Ul'dah. She has been sorely disappointed. She doesn't care for the swords she has been using and disdainfully refers to them as toothpicks.
After growing annoyed with the Gladiators Hornet took up with the Pugilists and has rather enjoyed her time there. Though she hasn't gotten much experience there but is looking forward to learning more
Though she hasn't learned anything about Lancers yet she does have admiration for their skills and is planning to pick up the art at some point.

- She hates sentient oozes/ichors and will do whatever she can to avoid them
- She is afraid of insects, but only the tiny ones. The huge Auroch sized ones don't bother her but the tiny ones that can get into her armor or be on her without her noticing them freak her out.

Friends
Anais Fleurdevide - Anais is an old friend of Hornet's though they never worked together much until recently. Anais reached out to Hornet and enticed her into doing non-criminal work for the first time in her life.
Enemies
Given her previous line of work as a person who robs travellers and merchant caravans she probably has a number of people who hate her and wish her ill.
