[edit]
A large and silent Au Ra of the Xaela, Ozhurok works as head of cargo for Golden Tiger Enterprises, an Ul'dah based merchant faction. The man works only in name, however, holding little loyalty to the company and it's Proprietress Eira Carter despite her constant efforts to get him more involved. As a refugee of Othard, this former nomad finds the new culture exposure almost overwhelming, preferring to contain himself in his own comfortable anti-social bundle where things still make sense.
An impossibly tall man, even for one of the Au Ra, Ozhurok hails from the Olkund tribe, known for selective breeding practices to create stronger members. Black scales cover the man's body, easily marking him a Xaela, but many are hidden in camouflage against his dark skin, nearly pitch black and reminiscent of a body covered in soot. Vibrant, violet eyes stand out from the dark complexion, piercing both in color and gaze. In stark contrast to his skin, bright white hair grows back from his scalp in a long flow, ending in a series of spines not unlike the few horns atop his head.
Aspects That Stand Out:
Restrained and quiet is a quick way to sum up Ozhurok. The Au Ra prefers to communicate without speech, often acting through expressions and gestures to convey his meaning. At times this has even gotten him mistaken for a member of the Qestir tribe, but Ozhurok does not refuse to speak altogether. On these rare occations it is when he deems it necessary to speak, but it is usually in small sentences or single words in entirety. As a refugee, Ozhurok is open to learning about new Eorzean cultures, but only for his own merit of knowledge; he has little to no interest of assimilating. Working as an employee for a merchant company, Ozhurok has only made it his goal to collect the necessary amount of gil to earn him a trip back to his home of Othard. As a denizen bred for the purpose of strength and not out of care and compassion, Ozhurok finds himself unable to understand the concept of relationships outside of alliances for mutual gain. In his vocabulary there is no such thing as friendship or love.
