Papaya Paya is a Dunesfolk Lalafell raised by a rather humble family of merchants. She is one of six, neither eldest nor youngest. Though Paya is a retired adventurer and Maelstrom officer with plenty of knowledge, battles, scars, and memories under her belts, she is not even the most renown of her family members. (Which, I'm sure if you shared a few drinks with her, she could rant on and on about...)

Biography

Paya is a skilled Summoner, able to call on more than a couple Egi based on her experiences in the field prior and even after retirement from the Maelstrom and adventuring life. Even with practice, she wields the most control of her first, Titan-egi. Recent cycles have served to hone her arcanum and command of the primal essences within her, but Paya is first and foremost a very skilled Thaumaturge, which is her preferred method of fighting.

Though the life of a fighter is now behind her, Paya often finds herself in the midst of trouble. It is unclear as to whether she seeks it or it seeks her. Either way, she can be anywhere at any time, and is always willing to lend aid to those who need it. In her spare time Paya enjoys sewing, making toys, cooking, and gardening.

Education

Paya studied for several years within the Ossuary to master Thaumaturgy.

Has for the past and continues to study Arcanum within Limsa Lominsa in order to maintain control of her Egis. Estimated time in studying arcanima is roughly 12+ years.

Several years of service with the Maelstrom, as well as a few Free Companies. Though retired, her skills have still seen use in recent times.

Her mother, Rurujo Rujo, owns many acres of land, where the farmers grow their crops and raise animals. Despite not being of a farming family herself, Papaya has grown up surrounded by friendly folk and several types of animals.

Being Dunesfolk, her eyes are a striking amber/gold colour, which compliment her platinum blonde hair nicely.  In the center of her forehead is the customary jewel that Dunesfolk wear to show their zodiac alignment. Her mother, Rurujo, and elder brother, Chachapoja, also wear the same jewels. She loves earrings and jewelry, and owns many, many different kinds.
-:: She has stopped growing height-wise, and is rather tall in comparison to her mother and brothers. Papaya bears her mother's figure, which is a pleasant pear shape, not too wide or too thin. The girl does enjoy eating, though! Though she wears dresses and fine clothes well, Paya isn't too prissy to don farmer's garb as she frolicks around the lands her mother owns. Usually, her garb is adorned with flowers, feathers, or other things she finds that are deemed 'neat'.

This is the main reason why Papaya is encouraged to visit the cities and be around other people as often as possible.
