Background

Reiko grew up in a small largely isolated clan, while she knew of major cities she had not been to them as there was not need. She spend most of her time growing up learning to hunt, fish, gather and live off the land as her clan traveled. As she started to get older she started to learn a bit about treating the sick and injured through non-magical means, It was not till a later date that she learned some magical healing on her own, but she is still learning.

Due to the nomadic nature of the clan the Menphina sect was informal at best, many of them were also healers, Reiko learned from them and in turn took on being a priestess herself. With word spreading about the nature of the world and the turmoil it is in she started to feel that too many people were not simply helping others. She could not understand what she heard about from the cities, she felt cities should think of themselves as large clans and thus work together.

When she reached adulthood she started off to the cities looking to bring the outlook she had as a maiden of Menphina, even if she had no real idea what the world outside her clan was like.
