The tribes method of healing is largely non-magical other than those who self study. It was the pursuit of self study that brought the interest of learning academics to Reiko. Trading with passers-by she was able to get her hands on books about magic, creatures, cities and legends. She began staring to do her own research on the areas  around her tribe. She learned not only which plants were useful and which were harm, but more importantly why they were this way. Her study of creatures allowed her tribe to hunt them more easily.
