Appearance & Personality

Features: His only eye is red and his hair is generally short and slightly wavy. It's texture is soft yet thick, streaked in black but the main color present is auburn. Being a keeper, his skin is dark grey. If anyone were to shift position or move his bangs over his right eye, they'd find that he wears striking gold eyeshadow.If you tried to look at the other eye, it's simply sewn shut.

Nature & Demeanor

Demeanor: One of the first and most obvious characteristics is his laughter. The famed "cackling" of "keks". When in a generally good mood, he laughs and keks regularly during conversation. Sometimes he'll laugh for no reason or rather excessively when he's delighted but one of the few things to stave off the onslaught of "keks" is drugs. He becomes more "normal" when under the influence and a touch less hyperactive.

However, without certain medications, his mood can become quickly irritated, grandiose and even defensive. This is a much rarer occurrence and what most might call a 180°. In this state there is none of the previous type of laughter present but his activity goes into manic episodes of insomnia and hyperactivity. He seems to be more aware when in these episodes as well, something he isn't fond of.

Nature: Usually kind. Hyper. Joyful. Outgoing and very friendly.

Trope: Currently little in the public eye.

Habits: Tail wagging, laughing (nervous or otherwise), candy crunching, certain drug uses

Common Appearance:

Scars & Markings: There's a scar on the left side of his lips which appears to jut up towards the left eye.

Voice: He doesn't have an accent but his manner of speaking is unpredictable and odd. He'll place words where they shouldn't be at times, make up phrases and cackle at inopportune moments. His voice is fairly mature yet still hints of boyish tone.

Clothing: Casual: A wrap around his left eye or modified glasses, frondale alchemist robes, adepts gown or a red leather jacket. His style can range from modern to medical though it's harder to catch him in the modern style.

Formal: Suits. He prefers suits. And flowers.

Work attire: an upgraded and tailored alchemist's robe, specialty metal gauntlets, dark blue slacks and alchemist boots

As Scourge: black frock coat featuring a capelet, pocket watch and a bowtie, black top hat attached to a plague doctors mask (fully functional, complete with herbs or oils within the "beak"), black gloves, black slacks and a fresh pair of gaiters.

Sami'li runs like a healer with dps capabilities. He commonly uses runes in combat but often utilizes his potions and prefers to fight at a distance rather than close quarters. Those who do fight him need to be wary of their surroundings and just how close to him they get.

History

Although Sami'li was born in the Shroud, he doesn't remember why he left for Uldah. In truth, Sami'li himself was always an oddity with his fascinations in mixing up water and various bugs or plants together into what he referred to as "pot mix" when he was of 2 cycles. The tribe recognized his strange displays and raised him with the focus of their traditional cooking and medicine to steer him from creating a bizarre mess. They were lucky to find Sami'li caught on quickly but discovering his later experiments in life caused a slight rift. This probably played a role in his "venture" to Uldah in search of the famed Frondale's Phrontistery but if asked, he'd likely just say he lived there. After all, being the odd male of the tribe yielded few wives and Sami'li had no interest. It's assumed that his parents and brothers remained behind but unknown to Sami'li, one of his brothers would follow his trail back to Uldah. The rest of Sami'lis history remains mostly withdrawn other than his work within Frondale's Phrontistery with whom he still serves to this day out of his apothecary. Even if asked directly, one might not get answers from Sami'li clearly as even he's not completely sure. But a small few know of the finer details.

Hooks & RP Favorites

From time to time an auburn haired miqo'te may or may not appear in the East Shroud and dance with sylphs. That same auburn color may or may not be involved with occasional tricks on travelers within that area. Didn't hear it from me.
