It was dumb luck that it took pity on him.” PC . ◢ Player Character Rumors - Feel free to add rumors of your own! ■ "None so Far" PC Name Story Born to a Garlean General who defected from the Empire, and a Gridanian White Mage named Nepenthe Allgood. His father found refuge with Nepenthe, under an alias. The Alias pandered to his given nickname within his unit back in the Garlean Empire, "The Merciless Sentinel." Alucardt being the General's given name was adopted as his new middle name. Nepenthe Allgood was a beloved -Hyur Midlander- girl among the Grindanian people. Always lively and willing to help any person in need. She was blessed with a strong affinity to White Magicks, and traveled often. Thus, meeting and aiding a starving Garlean man who told her his alias, and promptly they began to fall in love. After their child was born Nepenthe requested that the boy take on his father's name. Alucardt, was hesitant at first, but decided that passing down his alias would create a new, less shameful lineage. Not long after Sentinel's birth his mother passed of illness caused by her overwhelming affinity to White Magicks and Aether use. Broken, his father took to joining the Ul'dahn Army, and skirmishing at every battlefront that came forth, only to be seen once every few years. Young Sentinel was left to a family in Limsa Lominsa who were well set Naval Merchants. One dark day on the seas, the ship he was working was attacked by pirates, and he was taken as a cabin boy to spare his young life. At the age of 18 summers, he left the crews as a Quartermaster, and traveled to towards Ishgard by stealth. After a year he found himself traveling with a group, falling in love, and subsequently losing them all in a battle with a Primal. Finding himself pulled into the Aether, only to emerge 5 years later with almost no memory of the time passed, or of his love's fate. Stumbling into the entrance of the City among the clouds. He joined the Ishgardian Army under the guise of an unfortunate orphan seeking to better his life. After 3 years of service, he left to travel for Ala Mhigo who called on anyone available for help in their fight for independence. Wandering through Ul'dah, he was met by a University Headmistress, and found a home there. He worked from the University as his home and travelled from the frontlines of Ala Mhigo and back routinely. (Sep/14/2016) Update 10/1/2017 After a year, Sentinel quietly packed his belongings, and decided that he no longer should be tied down to the University. He left Saint Reinette's and moved on to find work he felt more suited to. Being a sellsword in Ala Mhigo. After the revolution, Sentinel ran into a woman named Holo Wolfe, who worked for an inn named the "Crimson Moon." After a very odd adventure together, he decided to stay around Holo, and take up residence at the Inn. Update 5/26/2019 Sentinel found himself with odds with one of the owners of the Crimson Moon Inn and took it upon himself to leave for new scenery. Spending a long while working as a Limsan Storm Lieutenant, he was granted Storm Captain. He now carries out missions, and raises his squadron with honor, despite his past. Forgiven by the Admiral herself of his crimes while a Pirate, due to his aid in the rebellion against the Empire. Music Just some music that accompanies times in Sentinel's life.
