Basic Info

Seto Verasse [Seh-toe Veh-ra-seh] is a young and fresh Miqo'te, uphailing from the V'erasse tribe located deep within the terrains of Ul'dah's outlands. He is the youngest out of two brothers from the family but was born from a different tribe nunh to his older brother, Hikaru Kayle. At first glance the young lad looks inexpereinced and immature and his lack of knowledge outside his tribe means he is still learning. However, curious as to why his brother left the camp years before him and the desire for adventure, Seto faces up to the challenge.

Names

Seto was born with the name V'Seto Tia of the Verasse tribe. Upon leaving the camp, his adopted name became Seto Verasse. This was to appear more accessible to the people outside of his camp.

History

Born into the small V'erasse tribe, Seto was the youngest out of two brothers born through different tribe nunhs. His older brother Hikaru Kayle had been born into the large Kayle tribe. His mother had been banished from the Kayle tribe after Hikaru had shamed them through challenging the leader and religious members about the history of thier ancestors.

Upon their move to the smaller tribe V'erasse, Hikaru was never welcomed in the tribe due to his outspoken ideas. When Seto was five, his brother had challenged the tribe's only nunh and won, only then to refuse to mate with the other females. To save his mother from any more embarrassment, Hikaru left the tribe to make a living in the city of Uldah.

Seto grew up at the V'erasse camp with his mother for the next ten years, his knowledge of his brother only being the memories he had when he was young. The tribe members would not speak of his brother and only his mother would mention him occassionaly in the late nights. This would encourage Seto to try and leave the camp, only to end up in trouble from being attacked by other creatures or beastmen wandering the sands. At the age of 17, Seto tried to challenge the camps nunh, the same nunh who was defeated by Hikaru in previous years but failed. He explained to his mother he only challenge the nunh to understand how Hikaru would have felt and that he wanted to leave the camp and seek out his brother. His mother forbade the request.

In his eighteenth year, Seto's mother was killed after an attack by local beastmen was launch on the small tribe. Many of the tribe members, including the current nunh were killed in the attack. Those few who survived, including Seto, joined other local tribes who offered them haven. However at the age of 19, Seto made the conscious decision it was time to seek out his older brother.

Personality

Seto is still young and inexperienced to the lands of Erozea after his protective mother wouldn't let him out of her sight. He feels that his mother blames herself for Hikaru's behaviour and has then turn her attention to him, making sure he stayed out of truble and harms way. This didn't stop his curiosity and probably got him into more trouble than he was suppose to. He likes when people give him attention but he doesn't seek it. He can be happily pearched on a ledge, staring over the beautiful landscapes Erozea offers and he'd be pretty content. Excitable and friendly, he will be pleased if you flash him a smile.

Affiliations

Hikaru Kayle: Hikaru is Seto's older brother. They have a different last name as Kayle took on the last name from the tribe he was born into and Seto has taken the one he was born into. Seto hasn't seen his older brother since he was five.
