Seto Verasse (/ˈsɛtɵ vɛrɑːssɛ/) (née V'seto Tia) is from the V'erasse tribe, born as part of the Miqo'te diurnal clan Seeker of the Sun. Born through V'erasse tribe's nunh, V'akra Nunh and his mother, K'yana Rehb, he is the youngest born to his mother, though his older brother was born from a different nunh from a different tribe. Currently he is not part of any tribe after a majority of his own tribe died from an attack of their camp, including his mother.

Basic Info

Seto Verasse is a young and fresh Miqo'te, uphailing from the V'erasse tribe located deep within the terrains of Sagolii Desert. He is the youngest out of two brothers from the family but was born from a different tribe nunh to his older brother, Hikaru Kayle. At first glance the young lad looks inexpereinced and immature and his lack of knowledge outside his tribe means he is still learning. However, curious as to why his brother left the camp years before him and the desire for adventure, Seto faces up to the challenge.

Names

Seto was born with the name V'Seto Tia of the Vulture tribe. Upon leaving the camp, his adopted name became Seto Verasse. This was to appear more accessible to the people outside of his camp.

Appearance

Seto has a fair skintone and complexion and is medium built. Smaller than the average Miqo'te but it doesn't generally hinder him. Hare-brown messy hair which he tends to try and keep groomed but it refuses to stay in place. His distiguishing features are his eyes, a light leaf green one on the left and ocean blue on the right. Not to mention the scar on his cheek he received on his failed fight to become a nunh.

History

Born into the small V'erasse tribe, Seto was the youngest out of two brothers born through different tribe nunhs. His older brother Hikaru Kayle had been born into the large Kayle tribe. His mother had been banished from the Kayle tribe after Hikaru had shamed them through challenging the leader and religious members about the history of thier ancestors.

Upon their move to the smaller tribe V'erasse, Hikaru was never welcomed in the tribe due to his outspoken ideas. When Seto was five, his brother had challenged the tribe's only nunh and won, only then to refuse to mate with the other females. To save his mother from any more embarrassment, Hikaru left the tribe to make a living in the city of Uldah.

Seto grew up at the V'erasse camp with his mother for the next ten years, his knowledge of his brother only being the memories he had when he was young. The tribe members would not speak of his brother and only his mother would mention him occassionaly in the late nights. This would encourage Seto to try and leave the camp, only to end up in trouble from being attacked by other creatures or beastmen wandering the sands. At the age of 17, Seto tried to challenge the camps nunh, the same nunh who was defeated by Hikaru in previous years but failed. He explained to his mother he only challenge the nunh to understand how Hikaru would have felt and that he wanted to leave the camp and seek out his brother. His mother forbade the request.

In his eighteenth year, Seto's mother was killed after an attack by local beastmen was launch on the small tribe. Many of the tribe members, including the current nunh were killed in the attack. Those few who survived, including Seto, joined other local tribes who offered them haven. However at the age of 19, Seto made the conscious decision it was time to seek out his older brother.

Personality

Seto still finds a lot of Eorzea new and exciting.

Seto is still young and inexperienced to the lands of Eorzea after his protective mother wouldn't let him out of her sight. He feels that his mother blames herself for Hikaru's behaviour and has then turn her attention to him, making sure he stayed out of trouble and harms way. This didn't stop his curiosity and probably got him into more trouble than he was suppose to.

He likes when people give him attention but he doesn't seek it. He can be happily pearched on a ledge or a cliff, staring over the beautiful landscapes Erozea offers and he'd be pretty content, watching the people or even the creatures that roam the land go about their daily routine. Excitable and friendly, he will be pleased if anyone flashes him a smile. He is very awake and playful at times, and sometimes this can hinder him as people think he doesn't take things seriously.

Affiliations

Hikaru Kayle: Hikaru is Seto's older brother. They have a different last name as Kayle took on the last name from the tribe he was born into and Seto has taken the one he was born into. Seto hasn't seen his older brother since he was five.
