♥ Reginald Evermore - Shalarissa's adoptive father. A Midlander Hyur from the village of Hyrstmill. While a strong and competent man, his ineptitude at romantic endeavors became the stuff of local legend, though all he really wanted to do was raise his own child. As fate would have it, one day while traveling back home from a trip to Gridania, he happened upon a large predatory beast just a moment too late to stop it from killing and eating a lone woman who had just given birth to a single child. Reginald was able to fend the beast off before it was able to do the same to him, and in the aftermath he noticed that the infant was still very much alive and healthy. Seeing this as his best chance to have his own child, he took the infant in as his own daughter. While not a wealthy man, he went out of his way to provide for and spoil his precious daughter, and to this day still dotes over her constantly. Shalarissa, in return, loves her father dearly, to the point where she still calls him "daddy" out of habit. No matter how busy she is, she always makes time to return to the shroud to visit with him.
