P E R S O N A L I T Y

On the surface, Simon is a strange mix of crude and charming. He gives off a slackened nature around the general public. To those that know him better, they might say differently. To some he comes across as reserved, eerie and downright creepy. To others, a foolish alcoholic with skewed morals. Some say, he has a taste for murder, but most would say that he's just a common sleaze. One thing everyone would agree on is that he loves to stir the pot and help others do so, however not without compensation.

A P P E A R A N C E

Though retaining his youth thus far, Simon looks grizzled and doesn't hide it as some Elezen might. His stark white eyes are usually hidden behind eye-wear of some kind. If he smiles, what should be flat square teeth are sharp triangular points in a jagged pattern. Some are capped in silver. His facial hair consists of black, pointed sideburns with some five-o-clock shadow and scruff on his chin. Dark brown freckles speckle his cheeks which a large scare runs diagonally up to his right, just missing that eye. His outfits usually consist of leather and are mostly black with some other color here or there, usually gold or a silver accents pieces.

Piercings: Two rings in each ear lobe, a ring septum piercing and two studs on his left brow.

Tattoos: The image of a drake running up his right arm to his shoulder done in black ink. A lot of details are in it's eyes, spiky back scales and tail club.

Scars: Old diagonal slash across his face, a newer slash up his forehead and down part of his nose bridge, large slash over right shoulder down side of his chest, stab wound on right hip through to the back, large slash across his upper chest.

Missing Teeth: Lost his right lateral incisor.

L I K E S ■ Money - Gil speaks his language ■ Guns & Magitek - while aether-capable like any "savage" Eorzean, Simon likes to mess around with both in a technological environment. ■ Weaponry in general From stabbing to slashing to chopping, he'll try to make use of whatever weapon comes his way. ■ Alcohol - everything's more fun when you're drunk! ■ Hunting - it puts food on the table and everything's on the menu (Yes, even people). ■ Cooking - He's crude, but not completely uncivilized. ■ Stews - Easiest thing to make. ■ Reptiles, insects and Chocobos - They make good pets in his opinion. ■ Sewing things- To make his own Leather and cloth outfits and gear. ■ Body Modifications - piercings, tattoos and even filing his own teeth down to sharp points (No one said he was sound-minded).

D I S L I K E S ■ Whores - Simon has a vague idea of what a whore even is. From rumors about his mother being in an affair, he seems to think whores are nothing more than glorified adulterers and unfaithful partners. He doesn't see it as a legitimate profession. It doesn't even matter if one literally is a whore or not, if he thinks you're one then he hates you. ■ Gridania - The city as a whole brings bad memories of his childhood about. From rumors regarding his parents, his origins and child bullies mocking him for things not in his control. Also the general bad treatment of anyone with Duskwight in their blood has made him resent anyone associated with the settlement. ■ Wildwood Elezen - Though he's half Wildwood, the insistence that this breed of Elezen act like they are "better" just adds insult to injury. ■ Shroud Wardens - Not only are they usually Gridanian, they put a damper on his hunting quotas. ■ Lawmen that can't be bribed - What's the point of being loaded if you can't buy your way out of anything?

Q U I R K S ■ Shies away from intimacy - Sex is one thing, affection is another. He's very fickle about who receives it at all. There's only one person he'd give affection to right now and that's Jin'sae. ■ Rarely takes off his shades in public - He doesn't want you to know where he's looking of course! ■ Sometimes seen caressing and holding creepy crawlies and other critters - They're his idea of cute. ■ When active, he smells like outside, leather and BO - 'Wosh him. He smelly.' Might be due to only having a bath rather than a shower.
