[edit] Appearance Personality Background Gallery OOC Notes APPEARANCE Ruckus stands at 8 feet 5 inches. He is self-conscious about his size as he was always told he was built to fight. He has dark brown hair that goes from long and in a ponytail to short and pushed back depending on if he has decided to get a haircut. His eyes were originally both brown, but after his eye was taken he got a replacement glass eye that is white, although he almost always wearing a eye patch. Ruckus is covered in all manner of scars and tattoos. The scars range from small cuts to large gashes. Many were received on the battlefield. There are a few distinct ones on his back that are obviously from a whip. He has some very obvious ones on his face from when his eye was torn out. He has tattoos covering most the rest of his body. They are all symbols and runes of different kinds. There is a clear one in the center of his chest. A symbol that simply means "Beast." His hands are like the rest of his body but his knuckles seemed to have very distinguished marks from his fighting. His hands are rough like feeling paper that has small cuts in it. The tattoos that litter his face he had done after coming to Ul'Dah, and has yet to tell anyone what they mean. PERSONALITY Ruckus prior to coming to Ul'Dah was mean and angry. He craved violence and was only a step above a feral animal, but he has changed! After spending months wandering around he came to Ul'Dah a different person. Ruckus prides himself on his kindness and acceptance of others. He spent so much time killing and hating, and being angry that he wants to be good! Ruckus is a loyal friend, and everyone is his friend until they show him malice and hate. Ruckus tells people that he wants to put more good than bad into the world before he dies! A History of Ruckus Ruckus was abandoned as a child and raised by a clan of Miqo'te in the mountains. The Miqo'te were lead by a vicious ruler who wanted nothing but power and more territory. He saw Ruckus as a tool and raised him to be such. He was treated as a slave, beaten and abused, and when it came time for battle, they forced him to fight. The forced him to take herbs and poisons to force his body to keep growing. On top of they would flay his skin and put crystals in his flesh and charge it with ather, forcing his body to grow even further. He was a monster on the battlefield and was thought to be a monster. He fell in love with one of the daughters of the chief after she befriended him. Over time she taught him how to talk and read. When the Chief found out, he tore Ruckus's eye out and killed his daughter in front of him. Ruckus was banished from the clan and left for dead on the side of a mountain. Ruckus traveled in a daze for months. He encountered many animals that became close friends of his like his chocobo "Lil'Stampede" his duck "Lil'Ruckus" and his frog "Hip-Hop". Finally, he found a roadhouse and shacked up, unaware of social norms he just walked in and started sleeping. The residents of the house were concerned at first with Ruckus and his habits of getting hurt and breaking things by accident. After some talking they allowed him to stay. Time has passed and Ruckus has made many friends and adapted as well as he could to his new culture. Ruckus also discovered that he has an echo. Just recently he found out that when people told him that, they weren't talking about his voice repeating. Ruckus was able to speak with animals, which he always thought he was just good with animals. He still doesn't know what an echo is, and isn't convinced that he just isn't saying things twice! Ruckus has recently purchased his own apartment where he currently lives when not sleeping at The Bloody Knuckle. The Bloody Knuckle One day while walking in Eastern Thanalan Ruckus stumbled upon a run down house. As Ruckus traveled this area often he decided to fix it up as a place for him to rest and relax. Over time he slowly fixed it up. After inviting some friends over the idea was proposed to turn the place into a bar. After a while the idea was set in motion to create The Bloody Knuckle! A bar where you could drink and fight! Ruckus spends alot of time still hear relaxing and enjoying himself. He often invites friends back to the bar to drink and laugh. Fighting Style Ruckus is known for his kindness and his loving nature. He is known for being a good friend. He is also known for fighting with a brick. One night Ruckus was in line for the grindstone tournament. He looked down and saw an oddly shaped stone in the ground. It was a brick. One that must have fallen off a wagon ages ago and had been worn down. Ruckus took the brick and decided to use it in a fight! From then on he fought with the brick! He ending up wrapping it in a chain and using it like a meteor hammer. He also is known to slide his fingers through the holes of the brick and use it like brass knuckles. Either way, some people seem it as a fun challenge to fight the brick, others see it as a curse...
