Appearance

Thala'to is a Keeper of the Moon of average height and weight. His body is well-trained and well-maintained, a testimony to his desire to look the best he can at all times. His muscles are neatly defined, comparable to that of a martial artist, but not overdone like say, a bodybuilder. His hair reaches all the way to his shoulders and is pitch-black, soft and well-kept. The color is also found on the fur of his ears, and that of his tail. He is always well-groomed, swearing by a daily bath and a plethora of lotions, enough to make a girl envious, all for the sake of keeping his skin soft and free of impurities. He often uses scent-waters, usually of lavender kinds, but keeps the usage moderate - aiming to simply leave a touch of it around his own scent. His eyes are almost as grey as his skin-tone, accompanied by a bright white smile. Of clothing, he tends to prefer light clothing of soft fabrics, usually in darker colors. The style variates from causal to revealing. He tends to carry about what he needs in pouches around his belt, and a satchel or small backpack for anything that wont fit into the pouches.

History

Thala'to, the second son of Thala Relehna, was born and raised in Ul'dah. Unlike the norm for keepers, his mother had left her clan behind, opting for the life as a city cat - working in one of Ul'dahs infamous entertainment joints as a dancer. As such places never got noted for being the best places to raise a child, let alone two, Thala agreed to surrender the oldest child to her sister, Mauh Relehna, whom would later make the kit change his name to Mauh'a Relehna. The distress of having to give up her first-born drove Thala into a state of depression followed by alcoholism, and rather than explaining what had happened to Thala'to, who was about four at the time, she opted to tell him that his brother had passed away due to a terrible illness. From this point onwards, it was as though Thala gave up and Thala'to would grow more and more distant to his mother as the days passed, the job of raising him haphazardly placed on those around in the club who cared enough. Such would also mean that Thala'to never adopted much of his kind's cultural norms, never learning of them until much later on in his life.

It was one of these people that noticed Thala'to's knack for making even the clumsiest of falls look like a dedicated stunt of utter grace, and as he grew older and became more useful to the club, they opted to put in a good word for him with the resident trainer of aspiring dancers. He agreed to take Thala'to under his wing, seeing promise and potential in having a young male as a star of a show, once he would reach adulthood. A deal was struck, and Thala'to would begin training whilst making him worth the effort by functioning as an errand-boy for the club whenever he wasn't practising. After several years of training and dedication, he finally auditioned for a leading role in one of the most popular shows the club had to offer - Here he was beaten by the radiating "Jewel of Ul'dah" and landed a role as the lead backing dancer. He never expected to have a rival, nor did he expect the rival to become his best friend and the life-changing events that the two would leave in their wake.

Personality

Thala'to is someone who can be described as a bit of an oddball, despite his many years of working in the spotlight on a stage, he seems to thrive the most outside of it. Some argue that this is because he has been surrounded by people whom could and would steal all of the attention, causing him to stand in their shadows. If you were to ask him, he'd just shrug and smile. He appears to be a gentle caring creature, and is deeply loyal to the friends he has. He is selfless, and would rather spend gil on making sure everyone else is content, before he considers using them on himself. He enjoys visiting bars, and when he is single he does flirt when something takes his fancy. Thala'to rarely seems to keep love interests around for a long time, and he can appear a little too naive for his own good. He is not shy of simply listening to peoples stories and problems even if they are strangers, and is always thorough with any work he does.
