Character
General
Thiji Higuri is a Dunesfolk Lalafell hailing from a region south of the Sagolii Desert, but considers himself from there. He is part of the recent batch of Adventurers that have journied to Eorzea to pursue their own goals. A gentleman and an intellectual, he takes pride in his strategic wit and cunning on the battlefield. He spends most of his time thinking, even when it does not seem apparent to others around him, for he is always searching for opportunities to test out his new tactics so that all of Aldenard will one day know of his brilliance.
Appearance
Since his return to Eorzea after two months of being with his family, Thiji has grown several ilms where he now stands over 3 fulms tall. Aside from that, he is quite the handsome specimen sporting short, icy blue hair with white highlights that barely touch his shoulders; depending on how the light hits him, he can be seen in either his primary or secondary hair color respectively, creating a clever combination. His left eye is the same color as his hair, and his right eye is a silvery-white color, similar to that of his highlights. He is always seen wearing robes or some sort of regalia with tints of blue, white, and/or purple.
Behavior
His demeanor is usually calm and collected. Thiji also tends to be in a perpetual state of thought, always thinking of someone -- or something. When not fighting, he's in his home in his Higuri Regalia Headquarters in the Goblet, practicing his weaving and goldsmithing.

General
Thiji Higuri is a young Dunesfolk male who is the heir to a well-known goldsmithing company known as the Higuri Regalia. His home is situated somewhere south of the Sagolii Desert in a region known as Cape Deadwind, and has come to Eorzea to introduce his family business to the public.

He likes to say the word "imbecile" a lot whenever he sees signs of silly behavior, whether it is on or off the battlefield.

Relationships
Mamai Mai: A young female Dunesfolk whose eyes were taken from her by the Calamity, she was a skilled smith that was taken in as Thiji's maidservant, but she eventually grew feelings for him for his selflessness and faith in her to succeed. However, due to recent events she was slain by the Lady of Frost, Shiva. He sought revenge against her in which he succeeded, and Mamai would be at peace. Thiji, on the other hand, despite his claims of actually accepting his loss and making peace with it, is still hurt and fears he may never heal, for it was the only person in his life thus far that he fell in love with and have the feeling become mutual.
Shishira Shira: A childhood friend of Thiji's, Shishira is a Goldsmith specializing in ruby-based products. During their childhood together, Thiji slowly began to harbor feelings for her, and when he would muster the courage to confess, he would be denied the opportunity thanks to an heir of a mineral concern known as Memejora Danajora. With a bit of cunning and tact, he undermined the both of them and as payback, served the Higuri Regalia for several winters before they would pay off their debts. Since then, they have been good friends with each other, but Shishira had finally realized that the latter loved him after talking with him alone in a recent Yearsend party. She is happy to be married with Memejora, but is also guilty for making Thiji into who he is today.
Family
Horu: His younger brother Horu Higuri is a mirror of himself. They share the same eye colors, but Horu has a silver left eye and an icy blue right eye. Also, his hair is more silver with icy blue highlights. He does not speak of him much in open conversation due to a variety of reasons.
Kikimei: A Wildwood Elezen and Thiji's older cousin, she has come to Eorzea to serve as his retainer, mainly handling transactions related to his tailoring endeavors.
Friends
Glacius: His steed and only true friend, Glacius is a winter chocobo that was given to him since he was a child. He protected his master from predators during his childhood and has been his loyal companion ever since. His favorite food is the Pahsana Fruit.

Common Rumors
- He loves ice and is blessed by Halone, the Fury, which contradicts the fact that he is a Dunesfolk and primarily being from an arid homeland.
- Tahrara Kivenera, a renowned author of the action/romance novel series "Passion", has been the object of Thiji's affection for most of his time in Eorzea. This has been mostly due to the fact that she resembles an old friend and crush of his, and ironically enough, she's also a Goldsmith.
- Thiji used to be a formidable Dragoon, but would soon retire after hearing that a majority of other Dragoons have created a bad reputation for themselves by Elusive Jumping off of fatal heights.
Moderate Rumors
- It is said that Thiji does not speak of his younger brother often because Horu is happier than him in the sense that he has a girlfriend that he is happily engaged to. This is a huge indicator that the former is highly envious of the latter.
- Thiji elects not to affiliate himself with any Free Companies because he feels "unworthy of being under the banner of one". He instead prefers serving as a benefactor so as to maintain his neutrality.
Rare Rumors
- Speculations suggest that the true reason behind the Lady of Frost killing Mamai Mai was because Shiva is Thiji's girlfriend.
- Everyone believes that he is a disdainful, antisocial noble that is borderlining "emo" by some. In actuality he is very humble, social, and caring, but this can easily not be seen due to his lack of company, or simply because he doesn't leave beyond the grounds of his mansion very often.
- Due to a myriad of hardships that Thiji has endured - both personal and external - he has come to the realization that he can no longer seek guidance walking in the light of the Crystal...
