The wonderful memories I made with my friends in that game have never left me. I have been following FFXIV for years, and finally was able to begin playing in early January, 2015. Then, after many late and hopeful nights of trying to make a character, I was able to join the Balmung server one lucky night on January 20th, 2015. I am a lifelong player of Square Enix games and the Final Fantasy series, along with many other offline and online titles. Final Fantasy XI was my first and favorite online game—I played it from its US PlayStation 2 release in 2004 up until 2009.
